In Hollywood, work begins on the filming of the sequel to the erotic thriller "50 Shades of Gray". Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are returning to their sadomasochistic roles, the audience is in anticipation, and scientists are trying to understand the reaction of young people to the events of the film.

The film "50 Shades of Gray" was presented in February and, despite harsh criticism, became one of the leaders at the box office. The media also reported an increase in sales of ropes, duct tape and other little things that are used in BDSM role-playing games. Now experts have decided to study the phenomenon of "50 shades".

The tape "20 shades darker" will be presented on February 10, 2017, and the third part - "50 shades of freedom" - will be released on the big screen on February 9, 2018.

Psychologists at Michigan State University surveyed 35 randomly selected women, aged 18 to 24. The girls filled out special questionnaires to assess what is happening in the film and the possibility of such events in real life immediately after watching an erotic thriller.

As it turned out, most of the respondents were sympathetic to the relationship between the characters in the picture. But the sexual activities of Anastacia Steele and Christian Gray were described as "unhealthy." In addition, the girls did not like Gray's dismissive attitude towards Steele and attempts at manipulation by the billionaire.

At the same time, many participants rationalized Gray's behavior and sympathized with him, trying to explain the actions of the protagonist by personal characteristics, needs and abilities. But most of the respondents emphasized that in real life they would not agree to maintain such a relationship.
