The premiere of the erotic thriller "50 Shades of Gray" in February caused controversial reactions from the public and critics. Nevertheless, the picture was very popular and grossed half a million dollars at the box office. Now preparations for the filming of the second and third parts of the franchise begin, and the dates of the premieres are already known.

The sequel to the erotic thriller "20 Shades Darker" will be presented on February 10, 2017, and the third part - "50 Shades of Freedom" - will be released on the big screen on February 9, 2018. The wait is relatively short, so fans of the saga are advised not to throw out the ropes and sticky tape.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will again star in the films. The director's name is still unknown. Earlier filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson, who worked on the first tape, refused to participate in the project.

By the way, the creator of "50 Shades" is very closely following the film adaptations of her books, which is why she often had conflicts with Taylor-Johnson.

The work on the scripts is going on quite actively. The day before it was announced that the author of the acclaimed novel "50 shades of gray" E. L. E. L. James was recruited to write the film for the second book by her husband Niall Leonard. At the same time, it is noted that Leonard himself is a well-known writer and screenwriter in the UK, who has developed several television projects and wrote the Crusher series of detective novels. “Niall is an outstanding writer with a solid reputation. It is a great success to invite him to our team,”said the film's producer Michael De Luca.
