In general, the relationship between a woman and a computer would be good to consider on the basis of two statements:

a) women are different

b) computers are different

Regarding the first point, there seem to be three categories of young ladies. Firstly, these are on-off young ladies. They know little about the computer, it is quite possible that they have a good idea of it externally, and sometimes they can turn it on. Sometimes and turn it off, but straight from the network, without any ado. Actually, they cannot be called young ladies with a computer, they mostly rarely see a computer and from afar, and when they acquire it, they quickly (as soon as they learn to turn it off correctly) move to the next level. The second category can be called "advanced user". A young lady becomes such when she has learned to communicate on ICQ, understand about 70% of the terms that men speak about computers, and also has many skills that allow her to spend a long time near the computer.

The third category is the young ladies who not only know how to handle a computer outside, but also know what is inside it. They know that computers are different (see point b), and they also understand what is united by the frightening word "hardware". They say that this category of young ladies really exists, but they do not meet often and are highly respected in the male environment.

The second category is currently the most numerous. Young ladies are actively learning how to work on a computer, without which either full rest or promotion is impossible. In this, men help them with all their might. So, for example, when trying to study the topic in more detail, a work of a certain male author was extracted from the depths of the network, aimed at helping poor women get acquainted with the computer (AS Van der Flaas "Personal computers for women"). Here are some of his tips:

- try to be beautiful by going to the computer, - always mentally say hello, thank and say goodbye to the computer.

This set comes with a lot of time spent in the company of a friend flickering with a monitor, and sometimes headaches and network bills that far exceed the sources of income.

But the most important thing is the image. Girls with a computer are in their image a few steps ahead of girls without a computer. The first ones look more advanced, and there is something to talk with them about. In general, this direction is very promising for the fair sex. Some discrepancy that may arise between the impeccable female logic and the reaction of the computer to the commands given to it, with a certain fantasy, seems surmountable. In addition, the computer remains only one of the whole variety of interests of modern young ladies, in contrast to men who constantly choose between a girl and a computer, or between a girl and a beer.

In conclusion, we present a short summary of prejudices and inventions regarding the relationship between women and the computer, compiled on the basis of the analysis of the publication:
