According to the annual survey of the British organization City and Gulds, the results of which were published on Monday, beauticians, florists and hairdressers were among the happiest people in the UK. The least happy were lawyers, officials and pharmacists, BBC reports.

It turned out that one of the secrets of happiness is the ability to communicate at work. So florists, cosmetologists and hairdressers called meeting new people the main pleasure in their work.

Communication with parishioners seems to have a similar effect on priests. The clergy were, according to the study, in second place in terms of the "coefficient of happiness." On average, they rated their mood at 9.14, on a ten-point scale, not much behind beauticians at 9.20.

The study also showed that white-collar managers, organizers, and knowledge workers are less satisfied with their lives than people involved in production.

However, things are not so bad for the people working at the desk. According to the same study, representatives of all professions were more satisfied with their lives than a year ago.
