In 2010, the actor already had two premieres: Love in the City 2 and The Irony of Love, which was released at the end of March. Actor Alexei Chadov, you are such a popular and handsome guy, and in the film "The Irony of Love" you have reincarnated as a nerd with glasses. How were you in childhood and adolescence - a humble nerd or a bully?

Neither one nor the other. I could have become a bully and a street guy if it weren't for the theater studio, where my brother and I spent a huge amount of time. There were, of course, some youth complexes, but on the whole I was active, fighting. No, I have very little in common with this young man - my hero in The Irony of Fate, this is an uncharacteristic role for me. He is somewhat similar to the Sparrow from the "Ninth Company", but in civilian conditions and circumstances of increased education. Such a correct word "nerd", although it sounds like a dirty slang in relation to some people who devote a lot of time to education. People who always want to learn. There are a lot of them at the institute where I studied. These people are interested in everything. It doesn't matter if he will need it in the future or not. Desire to learn and learn all my life.

Do you have such a desire - to study all your life?

The acting profession involves constant self-improvement, work on oneself. But this is a different kind of study, you accumulate not encyclopedic knowledge, but experience, skill. Although education, master, teacher, and abilities certainly play a big role.

By the way, in the films "Love in the Big City" and "Love in the Big City-2" Vera Brezhneva became your partner. Feel the difference in working with a professional actress and a non-professional one?

It seems to me that her image did not provide for some incredibly complex acting scenes. This time. And secondly, she knows what a camera is, she has experience in show business, and she feels not only the camera, but also the general mood of the set. That is, she is not a casual passer-by, to whom everything is a wonder …

Oddly enough, but when graduates of the theater institute come to the set, it causes much more difficulties and problems in work. That is, they have a lot of theory, but little practice.

In the case of Vera, everything is completely different: she has just a rich practice, although from a different angle, but nevertheless, it is very close. With Vera I felt comfortable. Yes, I did not have any discomfort with anyone in this picture.

Alexei, last year you published three pictures, this one already two … Has the crisis not affected your relevance in any way?

Now everything is in order - there are so many things that we cannot even manage everything, to be honest. To be honest, I never had a crisis. It seems to me that the crisis somehow contributed to the cleaning and purification of unnecessary, unnecessary, unrelated to cinema.

- Cinema, nature, communication, trips abroad. And, of course, I calm down behind the wheel - after all, three hours of life a day.

Now, after filming "The Irony of Love", are you resting? Or are you involved in other projects?

I took a short break and continue filming. There are a couple of projects, there is still something in the plans. But it's better not to talk about them for now, because everything can still change. I know that I will not be left without interesting roles for a long time.

And by what parameters do you choose roles for yourself?

I try to choose high quality projects in different genres. If I like the script, but the shooting company somehow confuses me, I can still agree.

I do not regret any of my roles at all. I believe that we must develop all the time.

What role do you think could become an Oscar winner?

For this, a lot of points are important, not just the role. Here you need fate, luck, self-confidence and a lot of work. For example, I never blame fate, I live only by signs. At the age of 18, I learned to understand what's what, thanks to my mother and some primitive books.

Do you believe in fate? The secret signs?

I do not undertake to define all this precisely, but there is something, of course, I believe in it. Everything is not accidental in this world. It is not yet clear how this all happens. You catch some isolated moments, incidents in life, signs. It's like someone is leading you. This is a very interesting thing. In general, I believe in some otherworldly energy. After all, people say that they see brownies. My mother told me about the same black tunnel. All the same things are said. What is it? I believe in it.

Are you superstitious?

Well, not that much, and yet not that I believe in omens, but I follow. I do not sleep with my feet to the door. Someone told me, and for some reason I think it's better not to do that. Someone stepped on their feet - it is better to answer than to argue whether it is worth believing in a sign or not. Again, these stories are with the black cat: if I meet her, I'd better go around, knowing the story with Pushkin.

As a child, you probably loved to retell all sorts of horror stories and listen to all sorts of mystical stories?

Yes, everyone in childhood loves such stories, they come up with some kind of legends. At our dacha in the city of Uralsk there was a hut, really a hut on chicken legs, visually it was very similar to a fairy tale. It was abandoned. There was a rumor that a witch lived there, and we were simply afraid to approach this tower. I remember this childish fear, I believed in it, as if you were watching a horror movie. Then we stole some boards from this house, we experienced such a horror. We walked happy with this booty. Then a car drives by, and they take these boards, they scold us, and we understand that this is the action of a witch. Here is such a children's legend, and everyone has such.

Alexey, let's get back to real life - not cinematic, not fictional. How do you spend your time in everyday life, what are your hobbies? How do you relax when you have free time?

Mostly with friends, in good company. My brother and I are very close, we often spend time together, we can go to barbecue and go somewhere together.

Rest should be active, although sometimes you really want to just sit back, watch a good movie, lying on the couch and sipping good wine. What else do I love? Nice cars, I love to drive, speed, adrenaline.

Are you "monogamous", or do you prefer to change cars?

I love different cars. After all, each machine is a separate creature, with its own characteristics … You learn something from each machine. After all, some tiny car and a BMW X5 horse are so different in handling, in dimensions, in sensations.

Alexey, is your attitude to cars not akin to your relationship with women? What do you think?

I knew that after your declaration of love for cars, you will draw a parallel with women! But I would not compare girls and cars. And even more so the attitude towards them. For all my love of cars, women are completely different.

The press wrote a lot about your relationship with Agnia Ditkovskite, you parted, converged … But now everything is all right with you in love?

Yes. Personal life is always of interest, and we have nowhere to go. But right now, I prefer not to answer questions about love and relationships, and for good reason. I already spoke too much, now I realized that the relationship needs to be protected and preserved.

Alexey, your brother Andrey is also an actor. You have already worked together in the movie "Alive". Did you like this experience and plan on filming somewhere else with your brother?

I really liked filming with my brother, I hope, more precisely, I am sure, this is not our last film together. This is amazing! First, there is no need to waste time lapping.

I need to know a little more about a person in order to trust him. Naturally, if you trust your partner, the result is somewhat different. As in life.

That is, we didn’t play, we didn’t have conversations: “Let's try this, I’ll give you the text, but you try, react differently”. We know each other better than anyone else and we just behaved like in life. That is why it turned out to be such an interesting and deep film, which our cinema really lacks.

What do you think our cinema lacks at all?

In general, I think that in the cinema now it is necessary to move away from social problems. We already have super social cinematography. Everyone is just talking about some problems. Cinema should, above all, educate taste. We have all lost our taste for life, for our personal life. Movies need to train the brain.
