Actor, singer and showman Timur Rodriguez has more than once had the opportunity to voice various fairy-tale characters. However, the opportunity to become one of them was the first time. We asked Timur about his new role in the children's musical "Mowgli's Generation", where he played the role of the bear Baloo, and also found out how he is preparing to surprise fans in the near future.

Timur, you took part in the new charitable project “Generation Mowgli”. What is its main goal?

- The answer is already included in your question. The performance is really charitable - we are saving the lives of children. And we also have the opportunity, playing for our little spectators, to appeal to the feelings of adults. Remind them of their most important mission - to truly love their children, to devote time to them, to be their best friends.

In the play you play the role of Baloo the bear. What do you think you managed to bring to this character?

- Due to the fact that all the characters in Kipling's tale are humanized, the parallel with communication with real teachers, mentors and parents, of course, is much easier to draw. And here, of course, my acting task is to focus the attention of both children and their parents in the easiest possible way on the most important issues related to the formation and education of the personality. For children, this is an unobtrusive conversation about kindness, honor, dignity, and for adults - that all these truths should not be hammered in, but simply presented correctly.

What do you remember most about working on this project?

- This is, first of all, an invaluable experience! Children are infinitely organic. For adult actors, even of the highest rank, working with children is an opportunity to see once again how nature itself "plays out" everything that then has to be re-learned. And, of course, the most valuable performance for all of us took place on the opening day of the Plumage festival, when Konstantin Khabensky played Akela. He is a wonderful partner!

When you first met the world of Mowgli, who was your favorite character?

- Of course, it was Mowgli himself. My childhood dream - to be in an unknown world, to learn to speak the same language with wild animals, to defeat the most ferocious of them, and then to get a dark-haired beauty as a wife seems to have come true! Having moved to the capital of our Motherland, I found myself in a truly unknown world, and once in the epicenter of Russian show business, I learned to understand the language of its wildest representatives and to fight for the right to be different from them. Well, the dark-haired beauty is now not only my wife, but also the mother of my sons! (Timur and Anna Devochkina have been married for 7 years. The couple are raising two sons - 5-year-old Miguel and 2-year-old Daniel - ed.)

- You have an unusual interesting style. Surely you have not always been such a dude?

- Of course! Somewhere from birth to three and a half years, I could in no way influence the choice of T-shirts and tights, which did not give the representatives of the opposite sex the slightest chance to understand that I was not devoid of a sense of taste and desire to please them. Over time, I made up for it all!

You give the impression of a very cheerful and cheerful person. How close is this to the truth?

I regularly go to the clinic, where they inject me with the most complicated drugs - Veselin, Hohoton and Rzhaloferon.

- It's just an impression! For many years now, I have been suffering from manic depression, I regularly go to the clinic, where they inject me with the most complicated drugs - Veselin, Hohoton and Rzhaloferon. But seriously, I never allow myself to be led by problems and the bad mood they cause.

You are a showman, singer, musician, actor, TV and radio host. What else would you like to try yourself in? What else are you striving for?

- I have long aspired to really great work in cinema. For a long time, I turned down producers and directors who repeatedly invited me to various dubious, in my opinion, projects. Believe me, I'd rather act a couple of times in my life for something that I won't be ashamed of than doing it all the time, for the sake of, sorry, dough. By the same principle, I choose for myself both the musical material for performance and the show to conduct.

This year, I will finally make the transition from episodes to notable works. The first swallow - a role in the film "Moms-3". A good New Year's movie for our mothers bribed me even at the stage of getting acquainted with the script. In the film, by the way, I not only play, but also sing. We wrote the song especially for the picture together with the wonderful performer and author Ekaterina Shemyakina, she is now participating in the show "The Voice". Moreover, the song will be in two languages - Russian and English. The video for both versions - "Mom" and Show me - was released just the other day!
