For more than five years, singer Nikolai Baskov has been considered an enviable groom. After the divorce from Svetlana Spiegel, the artist had many novels with colleagues, but the tenor cannot find the woman of his dreams. Or maybe Nikolai is simply not eager to start a family? It looks like it.

At one time, there was a lot of noise around Baskov's novel with TV presenter Oksana Fedorova. In the past year, the public discussed with interest the tenor's relationship with the ballerina Anastasia Volochkova. But in fact, the artist decided to take a pause.

“We had a relationship,” says Baskov of Volochkova. - Neither she nor I hide them. What's wrong with that? Nastya is a beautiful girl, very emotional. I have known her since the age of seventeen. Two young self-sufficient people can go on vacation together and enjoy communicating with each other - isn't that wonderful? Creative people are like that."

“I’m just now in the period when I want to take place more as a creative person. I have been married for seven years. I had a relationship later - both long and short. But today I feel good alone, I'm used to it. And my whole life is built on achievements, on creative search. Relationships are responsibility. When a man is going through several novels in a row, without interruption, he wants to take a break. I am like an athlete before the Olympics: he also retires to prepare, gain strength. Because a family is not so easy,”Nikolai said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.

According to the artist, it is quite difficult to create a harmonious marriage. This takes time and experience. “For me, an example of a family idyll is Joseph Davydovich and Nelly Mikhailovna Kobzon. But Joseph Davydovich met his wife when he was 36-37 years old. In general, few people live in a happy marriage. I don't want to lie to my loved one. I want to meet a woman and feel: this is the one for whom I will make concessions, I will sacrifice something. And most importantly: I must love her, feel happy with her. So far, there is no such woman in my environment”.
