Travel has fascinated people since time immemorial, and in our time, the tourism industry has developed incredibly and continues to develop rapidly. Almost everyone has made at least one trip or intends to make it. And for those who do not know which country to choose, there are a lot of blogs and TV shows in which they will tell you, skillfully and through their own experience, where to go and what to see. One of these, very young, but already loved by many - "Heads and Tails". Two presenters go on a 2-day trip, one with a gold unlimited card, and the other with $ 100 in his pocket. Whoever gets what is decided by the flipped coin.

We managed to meet with the hosts of the eighth season of the show "Heads and Tails: At the End of the World" Regina Todorenko and Kolya Serga. They shared with us their impressions of distant countries, talked about offscreen life and gave some advice to those who love to travel.

Guys, you have already managed to fall in love with many, but few people know any information about you outside the show. Tell us about yourself and what you do outside of filming

Blitz survey "Cleo":

- Are you friends with the Internet?

Regina: Yes, of course, I'm very good friends.

Kolya: No. I will not be friends with someone who is friends with everyone.

- Did you have a nickname as a child?

Regina: Stupid, just awful! (Laughs.) My name was Wrigley Spermint, Doublemint and Jusi Fruit like gum.

Kolya: I had the nickname "The Beast". Once the older guys offended my brother in the yard. I took a stone and hit one of them. Since then, my brother called me the Beast.

- Are you an owl or a lark?

Regina: Owl.

Kolya: Lark.

- What animal do you associate yourself with?

Regina: Yorkshire Terrier.

Kolya: I don't associate myself with animals.

- Do you have a talisman?

Regina: Chain with a cross.

Kolya: Guitar.

- What is your psychological age?

Regina: I want to always be 19. (laughs) But now I'm 23, and I feel like 23.

Kolya: I am developing correctly, so my real age, probably, corresponds to the psychological one.

- What is your favorite aphorism?

Regina and Kolya: A lot of them.

Regina: I have been participating in the project for 4 months now and I realized that it eats up all my time. There is simply not enough time to do a manicure and pedicure - you constantly want to sleep. And after you sleep 3 hours maximum for 3 weeks, when you arrive, you can only sleep and eat, eat and sleep. (Laughs.) But at the same time I have time to do choreography and yoga. After each trip, it is very difficult to communicate with the outside world, the connection disappears. When you arrive, you immerse yourself in work, you start to remember … Oooh, Regina, Regina, you need to record a song somewhere, you need to write a text for someone. For example, a song I have written and performed by Sofia Rotaru (“Sorry” - editor's note) takes first place on Russian Radio. And I am very proud of that! I hear her and am insanely flattered. And, of course, I am engaged in a solo career, promotion: I write songs, lyrics, I connect the whole team that I can, so that they work, write arrangements. It is very difficult for me as an artist who has been on stage for 5 years already, traveling for weeks, being in different countries for weeks. I try to combine.

How did you get into the project?

Regina: Well, just an accident. On my birthday last year, I made a wish to travel the world. At that time, my contract with the group in which I sang was ending, and I wanted to take a break from everything, take a break and just travel. Travel all around the world! Put on a briefcase - and go! And then suddenly there is such an opportunity. They call and say, we, they say, want to invite the artist to the casting, but not me.(Laughs.) My PR woman was not at a loss, she said: “You know, I have Regina, she hosted programs on different channels. Do you want to cast her? " They said, "Okay, let him come." Regina came, went through several rounds, and then literally a week later they called: “That's it, Regin, give me your passport, we are making a visa. Drive. " And then Ostap suffered. I just decided to travel the world, but how could I know that it would turn out this way. Of course, I am very grateful to God for this opportunity.

Kolya: I was invited to audition, I came. In fact, I watched the program for the first time only after I was approved for the role of the host.

Some of the hosts from past seasons have had romantic relationships. Are you by any chance together?

Regina: We are connected by a lot: we are both from Odessa, and Odessa connects everyone. (Laughs) No, we are not a couple. I have my own personal life, Kolya has his own. We, of course, contact, communicate, share some secrets and new musical works. Kolya, when he comes up with something new, knocks on my room at the hotel and says: "Regin, listen, I have composed something here, how do you like it?"

After reading a lot of comments on the Web, we divided the opinion of users into two categories: the first love the show itself and received you well, and the second half complains about unsuccessful presenters, demanding the return of Bednyakov and Zhanna (one of the previous presenters - approx. ed.). What do you think about it?

Regina: Oh, we're terrible, just creepy. (Laughs.) I also read the comments, my mother was also upset by this all. She said: “God, daughter, how is that ?! You are not at all like that, you are so talented, you have so many medals! " And I told her: "Who needs it all, what medals, what are you talking about ?!"

- I hope that Kolya and I will give people the opportunity to see the world through our eyes: exciting, interesting and so that people want to go on their journey.

I understand that it is not so easy for people to get used to something new. For example, there is a main character in a film - and then bam, he dies, and some new one appears. Everyone thinks: “What ?! Why?! He was a great hero. " In "Heads and Tails" the same events as in the TV series "Game of Thrones" (laughs). It seems to me that people are still waiting for Bednyakov's return. I would have waited too. I really like to watch different TV series, and when a hero dies, I worry, well, of course, because the whole series was based on this hero.

In fact, the project itself is autonomous, and, no matter what the leaders it may be, it will be good and will be popular. I hope that Kolya and I will give people the opportunity to see the world through our eyes: exciting, interesting and so that people want to go on their journey. I hope that people will get used to it and they will love it all. They will see themselves in us. Kolya and I are the same travelers. We also prepare for each event, for each excursion. We read guidebooks, we know where to look, we know the weather in advance.

Kolya: Do you know the eastern wisdom: “When Muhammad talks about Ali, we know nothing about Ali, we know everything about Muhammad”? This is the answer to your question.

I am not embarrassed by the comments, I do not follow them, neither positive nor negative. I myself wrote a positive comment once in my life. I know that none of my friends will ever write anything like this.

Have you watched all the previous seasons? Did the previous hosts give you advice?

Regina: I'm sinful! (Laughs.) I watched very few episodes. Only some of the first seasons, those where it was about America, where Zhanna and Alan Badoev were (the first leading programs - ed.). He is a good friend of mine, he directed a video for me and worked with us at the "Star Factory". Therefore, I was interested in his point of view, what he thinks, how he got there. And the first time I saw him and I think: “Generally class! Clip maker, director, and even travels all over the world! It's a dream, how cool, I want it too!"

Kolya: I don't need advice. This is a reality show, where the basis is real reactions to what is happening, so no one can impose their reaction on me. Each has its own territory and its own map. Therefore, it is interesting to watch this project.

You have already traveled to many countries, have you encountered difficulties associated with the law or local regulations that you did not know about, and how did you get out of the situation?

Kolya: Do you think that as soon as we arrive in a foreign country, we immediately try not to get along with the law? (Laughs.) We all shoot like a student video blog. Everything was fine.

Regina: And my phone was stolen in Manila, in my favorite city now! (Laughs) For example, in countries like Japan, people are very closed, they don't want to share something with you, they don't want to tell you something. We were often not allowed to shoot, well, and, of course, we somehow had to get out, hide the camera under the arm, under the arm, barely.

We still break some laws. We go around in order to somehow control the filming process. Recently in Mongolia, the people there are very temperamental, a man ran up and started pushing our cameraman, shouting: "Take the camera away!" They do not understand that we are doing it for the good, to show their country. Of course, it doesn't scare me anymore! Different countries, different people, different mentality.

- We were often not allowed to shoot, and, of course, we somehow had to get out, hide the camera under the arm, under the arm, barely.

Have you ever had problems with acclimatization, poisoning, bites or just feeling unwell?

Regina: It seems to me that this happens to me every month. (Laughs.) I had this literally in the first episodes. We flew to the Seychelles (heaven on earth, both people and nature are amazing there), and I think, what more could you ask for ?! The food is dietary, and I am "rich", with a gold card … And then suddenly, in the midst of filming, I realize that I cannot walk, that I feel so bad - the temperature has risen. This is all from lack of sleep, due to the fact that we work for 3 weeks for 12-13 hours like crazy. Flights and airports - accumulated! It was the first time I found myself in such circumstances, although before that I had traveled a lot. I'm not in the first place, but here my body is losing, and I understand: "That's it, Regina, you're getting old." (Laughs.). The guys had to shoot something else - locations, nature, people.

One more time I was bitten by a mosquito, my eyes were swollen, and we couldn't take pictures either. It was just in the jungle. I came to the pharmacy, everyone shies away from me. And it was just an allergic reaction, although I thought: "That's it, I'll die soon, I have malaria!" But nothing happened.

And food, of course! What is there in Manila or the Philippines? They have trashy food, it is impossible to eat it. Some kind of water of the color of mud and swamps with a very bad taste and smell - how can this be ?! The only thing that saved was the local 7-eleven stores with their sandwiches, by the way, not the first freshness. Sometimes you only have to eat once a day, only in the morning or afternoon. It's very difficult in such a schedule.

Kolya: Each of us had health problems, including me, but this was not a reason for canceling the shooting, everything was on schedule. The sheriff does not care about the problems of the Indians.

Did you shoot everything from the first take?

Regina: When how. Not everything depends on us, much depends on the light, on the daylight hours. Sometimes we shoot a sunset, and the next day it started raining. How are the guys going to glue it? Here you have rain, 2 seconds, and here you have sun.

And, of course, when the shooting is problematic such as "you can't shoot", you have to try from the first take. It happens when people do not allow us to shoot, and we have to shoot 10 times. We come up once, the second time, we have such a law: until the fifth time or until they are kicked out. Here "until they are kicked out" always works. (Laughs.)

Were there any moments when heads or tails were changed? Negotiating or because it is easier in the country for a boy with 100 dollars

Regina: Sometimes I said that I didn’t want to go in this country with 100 dollars, and they answered me: “Go, Regina, with a backpack!” (Laughs.) We do not change anything, otherwise it would be uninteresting. It’s hard to be “on a backpack”, of course, I hate backpacks and I want to have slaves who carry all this! (Laughs.)

Kolya: Everyone wants something rich. Yes, even if there were moments that it would be something dishonest, who would tell you !? (Laughs) We are all honest, of course.

How many people travel with you? And how do they do it? Where do they live, what do they eat?

Regina: Director, cameraman, screenwriter. There is also an editor who then directly mounts the transmission while we go everywhere. He has a connection with the mainland. They shoot both the "rich" and the "poor" at the same time. Two teams are obtained.

When I'm with $ 100, my team hates me! (Laughs) They sleep in the same conditions and eat the same food - they just have no choice. For example, there was one hostel in Melbourne, with a seemingly beautiful one, with a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, but it's awful to sleep there, they constantly slam doors and go back and forth - you sleep like on a train. The next morning I cried in Melbourne, I didn't want to go anywhere, I didn't need anything. The whole team calmed me down. And there was another experience: sleeping in a yurt in Mongolia is fun. It’s warm there, but in the morning it’s like minus 20, and you see your little blue hands and your face over the bedspread, which turned blue from the cold. The yurt heats up very quickly and cools down just as quickly, I do not understand how people slept in them many years ago, and, moreover, they slept on the floor, and not like me - on the crib. They slept by the fire, not by the stove, into which you could throw coal.

- I almost ran out of $ 100 in New Zealand. Everything there is very expensive - you can dine for $ 50, and live even more so.

The gold card has a limit, and was it so that $ 100 was not enough?

Kolya: Of course, there is a limit. The gold card is a convention.

We designate some particularly interesting moments with money. For example, eating frog legs is worth spending money on, it will be interesting to watch.

Regina: The card limit is our conscience. Sometimes like this: you look - my God, a dress for $ 5,000. And you think: okay, this is too much.

But I almost ran out of $ 100 in New Zealand. Everything there is very expensive - you can dine for $ 50, and live even more so. I felt like a beggar.

Where did you like the most and where did you not? Which country would you like to return to?

Regina: I would like a wedding in the Seychelles. I would very much like a house in Australia, Melbourne or Sydney. And, probably, I would go to Vanuatu again to see an active volcano! When I stood close to the vent and felt this all-consuming power - it was something incredible! I would very much like my family to go there too. This was probably one of the best places I have been, and I have been to many places.

I probably wouldn't have gone to Palau. This is a place for people who are diving, you need to go there prepared. Experienced divers can go there, there they will come off one hundred percent. I am not a diver - I was not so interested.

Kolya: I would return to almost every country, because 2 days is unrealistically short to learn something about the country. And the country to which I would not go - no.
