Do you want to amuse others? In such cases, women do not need to put in a lot of effort. As American scientists assure, the fair sex only needs to laugh with a loud laugh in order to "infect" everyone else. The fact is that it is female laughter that causes the strongest positive emotions in others.

American psychologists have studied the mechanics of human laughter and found that it can be sincere only with an open mouth. During the study, 28 subjects were shown 50 comic video sequences, while the reaction of people to what they saw was recorded. Participants were then asked to rate each video on a "funniness scale". The results were unambiguous: all subjects found the same episodes funny. At the same time, the most boring videos evoked identical reactions - restrained laughter with tightly compressed lips or single giggles.

At the same time, psychologists checked how different types of laughter act on others, writes Ytro.ru. The most contagious was female laughter, in which the vocal cords produce the sound "ha ha".

“I suppose the secret of feminine amusement may lie precisely in this. The phenomenon of transmitting good mood in a group explains the mechanism of women's laughter,”said the author of the work, a researcher at the University of Georgia Michael Ouren.

By the way, there is a whole scientific area that deals with the comprehensive study of laughter - gelotology. So, recently, British gelotologists conducted a study involving more than two thousand Britons of different ages, which showed interesting results.

For example, women really laugh more often than men, who are characterized by severity and a certain gloom. However, contrary to popular belief, men grumble more often, and the difference is about 30%. Comparison of the propensity for laughter of representatives of different professions showed that taxi drivers are least of all prone to jokes and most of all bursting out. At the same time, secretaries most often laugh and are in a good mood.
