Since this organization belongs to strategically important objects, its work does not stop even during the period of high alert and quarantine. Russian Post had to make some adjustments to the schedule of servicing citizens in Moscow and the region in connection with how the situation with the coronavirus is developing.

Changing the schedule

The operator will continue to serve the population in the required volume. Due to the spread of the coronavirus and the recommended preventive measures, some branches have switched to special work schedules. To find out how the reception of citizens is carried out at the nearest branch of the Russian Post in Moscow or another region during the quarantine period, you should go to the official website of the organization.

The portal promptly reacts to all changes in the schedule. By entering the required coordinates in the address bar, any citizen can find out the work schedule of the nearest branch. Here, in an accessible form, all innovations that contribute to the remote service of the population are announced.

The working hours of the round-the-clock branches of Russian Post in Moscow remained unchanged:

  • Myasnitskaya st., 26 A, bldg. 1;
  • st. Uralskaya, 1;
  • Smolenskaya pl., 13/21).

The rest of the operator's branches switched to a five-day regime. At the same time, teams of mobile brigades have been formed, capable of replacing workers infected with coronavirus at a critical moment.

Experience shows that Russian Post in Moscow and in the regions will most likely work according to the holiday schedule, unless the local authorities make adjustments:

  • April 30 and May 8 - shortened working days, as on Saturday;
  • May 1, 2, 9 - days off;
  • May 3, 4, 5, 11 - a reduced schedule for receiving citizens or a day off - depends on the region;
  • May 6, 7, 8 - according to the situation.

More detailed information about the schedule will be available closer to the specified time on the operator's website or in a special mobile application.

Post network operator innovations

The organization recently announced the launch of a mobile application that allows you to order an online queue for reception by Russian Post employees. The same service can now be ordered on the official website of the operator.

The innovation is especially relevant in conditions of quarantine, when the optimal distance between people in the premises of the branches has been established, and a limitation has been introduced on the number of one-time reception of citizens.

According to Mikhail Volkov, deputy general director of Russian Post for operational management and retail trade, this measure can significantly simplify the situation and reduce the number of queues at the entrance to the branches. This will make it easier for residents to comply with the isolation regime, which will lead to a significant reduction in the number of victims of infection.

Basic rules for using the new resource:

  1. You can order a queue no later than an hour before the expected visit.
  2. If necessary, the entry can be corrected - postponed to a later time or canceled.
  3. When talking with the operator, you must provide an electronic order confirmation code or its digital value.

So far, the service is being tested only in 20 branches of Moscow and St. Petersburg. After a while, it will become available throughout the country.
