In the art of makeup, trends change every year. Every year, fashion shows offer their own directions in the evolution of makeup. And this is great: there is an opportunity to experiment, and a trend that suits you may become your favorite. After all, we are all individual, with our own taste preferences and anatomical features. What is relevant now in makeup?

NUDE make-up, healthy skin effect

Everyone's favorite NUDE makeup is still relevant in 2018. At first glance, it may seem simple, but in fact it requires an individual selection of toners and correctors for the effect of natural healthy skin.

When we carefully even out skin tone, the main task is to hide imperfections, signs of fatigue. But in the coming year, toning the skin carries with it another important task - it must glow from the inside. And it's not just about using products with a glow effect! First of all, the care and preparatory process before applying tinting agents is important: making makeup remover, using moisturizing cosmetic products, applying a base with a glow effect. Together, this will help in smoothing and give you a healthy skin effect.

And don't forget that if your dress is low-cut, tint and glow products should also be applied to the shoulders and collarbone.

Modeling the oval of the face

The main task of modeling the oval of the face is to distribute light and shadow to correct, for example, a wide face or the absence of a zygomatic cavity. Now intensive sculpting has given up its positions, and the era of light or even no correction of the face contour has come.

After all, the oval was considered to be the ideal shape, and the excessive striving for fictitious and not entirely relevant at the moment standards gave rise to artificial, sometimes even feigned make-up.

Individuality is much more interesting! Gradually, makeup turns into a set of technical, color and stylistic elements that suit this particular woman, revealing in her the individuality of her appearance.

Arrows

The arrows will always be relevant, graphic or shaded, this is more a matter of taste than fashion. But we are used to drawing our arrows with black or at most brown eyeliners. So what will the arrow look like in 2018?

White arrows will look very unusual and fresh.

Draw them with exceptionally clear, graphic lines. These arrows are perfect for women with deep-set eyes, because white is a glare on the eyelid.

Sequins (glitter)

Perhaps the most daring trend is glitter (or as they say: glitter). Agree, a great decor for New Year's makeup. But you also need to use it wisely, otherwise you will rather look like a Christmas tree.

It is enough to put the glitter on the inner corner of the eye or in the middle of the moving eyelid for your makeup to shine really festively. Glitter is also applied to the protruding part of the cheekbone.

For more daring fashionistas, you can apply glitter to the entire surface of the lips, after putting on lipstick that roughly matches the color of the glitter. This is necessary so that they lie tightly.

Just remember, if you still chose glitter for your New Year's makeup, let it be some one color: silver, copper, or maybe gold.

This trend is for those who love bright colors not only in clothes, hair, but also in makeup. We should always try to adapt makeup from shows to ourselves for everyday life, so bright colored eyeshadow can be used in a soft form using shading. Or, for example, to connect two trends in one - draw a blue arrow.

A little imagination in combining fashion trends will allow you to create a unique style and original makeup.

Bright, berry lipstick colors

Red, berry, red-orange and even with a neon effect lips - that's what's hot now. When choosing these shades, it is worth remembering about accents. If you are a supporter of expressive eye makeup, then for lips you should choose neutral calm tones. The perception of the degree of makeup intensity is different for everyone, so the emphasis in makeup on the eyes and lips at the same time is not at all taboo! The main thing is that everything is combined with the general style of clothing.

There is also a trend in the technical drawing of lips. For example, owners of voluminous lips are better off choosing a blurred outline, even when choosing bright berry-colored lipsticks. It is better to apply the color from the middle of the lips, slowly stretching the lipstick to the contour. It turns out both saturation and softness at the same time.
