First you need to "catch" the moment, to understand that your voice is disappearing, that is, to feel and remember that you are starting to wheeze. For example, if you spoke loudly for a long time or sang, then you may feel discomfort in the throat and pain when pronouncing the sound. You feel like you have to strain harder to speak or sing at the original volume. This is a signal from your tired vocal cords that they can no longer work. As in sports, any muscles are subject to overstrain, and the vocal cords are the same muscles, they can get tired from an irregular load and overwork. So please, be careful and listen to yourself, the coach advises, this will significantly reduce the number of breakdowns in your voice.

If you have already lost your voice and have become hoarse, then below are described methods for restoring your voice, and they will be ranked in terms of effectiveness. That is, the first are the most important.

1. The golden rule: keep quiet

While your voice is broken, try to be silent or speak in a whisper very quietly for the first two days to give your vocal cords rest and recovery. This is the golden rule, and the most important thing when breaking a voice!

2. Ambulance: calcium

You can take injections with calcium - 1 injection per day. If it is not possible to give an injection, then you can buy calcium tablets - OSTEOCARE, for example.

It is enough to take 1 tablet a day. It is a drug for osteoporosis, and it has a high concentration of calcium. It helps muscles recover. Within three days, the voice will be restored. But do not immediately give the load. We need to let the voice grow a little stronger.

3. Vapors of essential oils

A great way to restore your voice is inhalation with vapor of essential oils (if you are not allergic). Oils boost immunity, nourish and relieve inflammation of the vocal cords. Pay attention to the Mahold inhaler - with its help you can breathe warm vapors of oils. They don't burn. The instruction is as follows: you need to pour half a teaspoon of water into the inhaler and add a few drops of essential oils. Here are the proportions:

Anise oil - 2 drops

Lemon oil - 2 drops

Eucalyptus oil (pine or any needles) - 2 drops

And put the inhaler in a glass of very hot water. Then the oil vapors will start to evaporate.

These proportions are suitable for adults and adolescents from 10 years old, children under 10 years old need to add one drop.

It is advisable to do inhalation 3-4 times a day for 5-8 minutes.

Attention

It is normal if at the beginning of the procedure you start to cough and cannot speak at all, so the inflammation and mucus begin to go away. And after the procedure, be silent for at least 20 minutes - your voice will noticeably improve.

By the way, you can use all three methods at once, or at least the first two!

Remember!

Even if your voice recovered in two or three days, do not rush to use it to the maximum of your capabilities, let your vocal cords get a little stronger.
