Pop diva Madonna is in time everywhere. She sings, dances, opens fitness centers, launches a line of cosmetics and publishes shocking pictures between presentations. But this is not enough for a star. Madge's active nature does not tolerate inaction, and, while working on her next album, the artist also decided to shoot a new film.

In 2011, Madonna presented to the public the film "WE: Believe in Love" about the romance between Wallis Simpson and Edward VIII, and now she can't wait to make another romantic story. There is already a suitable plot. The star became interested in Rebecca Walker's novel 'Adé: A Love Story,' reports deadline.com.

The book tells the story of a young American student who fell in love with a young man from Africa. The couple decide to move to Kenya and lead a quiet and peaceful life, but their idyllic plans are destroyed by the civil war. The lovers are separated, and the lives of both are at stake.

The project is now in its early stages, during which funding and scenario issues are being addressed. It is already known that the famous Hollywood producer Bruce Cohen has joined Madonna, who will again act as a director, and Rebecca Walker is discussing the details of the future script with the pop diva.

Madge herself previously said that she liked the director's work and she listened with interest to the advice of her ex-spouses Guy Ritchie and Sean Penn while working on "WE: Believe in Love."

“Sean has always supported me in the creation of the picture. Guy read the script and helped develop the concept and various ideas. They never gave me specific recommendations, but Guy helped solve technical issues with lighting, operator work. Only technical questions."
