(Smiles.) I don't know, I haven't thought about it. Maybe you just think so? In general, of course, my generation is completely different. I count myself among the sixties. That time was strange, it cannot be explained now. But it is very dear to us, and it is still difficult for us to turn off that road, because it is youth. We did not think about material well-being then. In principle, everyone lived the same way. And the cinema was different, which is why the pictures from the Golden Fund of Soviet cinema are still alive. Films that resonate with the audience, in which there is irony, good nature and no bloody cruelty, are getting along well. If there is humanity in the picture, it will not be forgotten.

How do you feel about remakes of Soviet films?

It is impossible to surpass what Eldar Ryazanov did. I don't understand why make bad copies for films that are loved in every family.

Do you believe that the second Eldar Ryazanov will still be born?

Of course, every time gives birth to its own heroes. The second Eldar Ryazanov has not yet been born … You see, in addition to his talent, obsession with cinema, he has a good sense of humor. It is, of course, unique. In general, there are few heroes now … Is that why people do not remember the names of the artists who appear in the series? Because they are just saying words. I'm not saying that they are incompetent, but just a race. And when we pronounce the name of Gurchenko, Abdulov, Efremov, the images that they created on the screen pop up before our eyes. Nowadays they do not exist in the frame. This is terrible! The image must live with you for some time, suffer, cry …

All paintings by Ryazanov - masterpieces. Is the secret of success in his personality?

When I came to serve at the theater. Mayakovsky, the director was Nikolai Okhlopkov. He always said that success has two components. 50% - a successful play, script and 50% - correct distribution of roles. For Ryazanov, these indicators in each picture coincide.

Like any director, he can be anything. When he does not see the result, he can shout. But in those films in which I starred, there were no such manifestations. When filming "Office Romance", he talked to me very touching and delicate. I didn't act in films for a long time, so I spoke loudly, like in a theater. Your son Alexander Lazarev Jr. is filming a lot, how do you assess his work?

You know, I am sometimes afraid to watch his scripts. Sometimes there is something that you can carry it and have mercy … But it cannot be said that everything is bad in modern cinema, sometimes good cinema breaks through, interesting acting works. And I never made comments to my son. Only in the 90s, when he was offered to play the killers, she said that he had a different gut and appearance … Now we do not conflict, we live as one family, we trust each other.

You brought up responsibility for work in your son, and her parents instilled in you?

My parents are Mosfilmists. Not everyday people, frankly, but dad loved to eat deliciously, and mom loved to cook. They loved to relax, saved money, signed up for tourist trips. But at the same time, work was always at the forefront, Mosfilm, or they said "factory". All life was there: watching at the Cinema House, communicating with colleagues … Even being old, without a car and money for a taxi, they still went to the cinema …

Svetlana Vladimirovna, how do you like to relax?

The dacha has always been the best rest for me and Sasha. We have a two-story house. They loved to collect mushrooms together. There are many flowers in the country. I've always wanted something colorful and joyful. But I plant flowers in boxes, and in the winter these boxes have to be taken to the theater, to the dressing room, to the repertoire.

Sasha always called me “the flower grower politician” because of his love for flowers and interest in political programs on TV.

You lived with Alexander Lazarev for 52 years …

In 2009 we were congratulated on our golden wedding and we got married. It so happened that it took a long time to achieve this. The wedding took place without a fuss, not for show.

One thing reassures at least a little, Sasha left for another world, surrounded by a loving family, in love and care.

If not for my son and grandchildren, I would not have been able to survive his departure. Still fresh in my memory. I struggle with my depression as best I can. All support. He always had a lot of fans. I treated this with understanding and did not arrange scenes of jealousy. He has aged beautifully. I never told anyone about my illnesses. Only the family knew it. I think all his illnesses come from a hungry childhood. He's a blockade. I console myself with the thought that everything is God's will. If this happened, then this is fate. Nothing can ease my situation now, but the realization that 51 years will be lived in full understanding, supports. This is not given to everyone.
