It is widely believed that real love and friendship cannot be bought for money. However, a millionaire, carefully hiding his name, hopes that the sum of one and a half million dollars will be enough for him. A few days ago, a coal lord from China bought a Tibetan Mastiff puppy for ten million yuan. The dog named Hong Dong, which means "big splash", has thus become the most expensive dog in the world.

According to a breeder engaged in breeding Tibetan Mastiffs, the price of Hung Dong, which weighs a little over 80 kilos, is quite justified, since a lot of money was invested in his birth and subsequent care. The previous cost record for the Tibetan Mastiff was set in 2009. Then a dog of this breed was sold for more than 600 thousand dollars.

In the house of its new owner, the dog will eat chicken, beef, boiled fish, as well as abalone and sea cucumbers. In addition, bones will be included in the dog's diet so that he can clean his teeth with them. Also, Hong Dong will be given dishes flavored with crushed eggshell, which will serve as a source of calcium.

Tibetan Mastiffs are easy to train, they are good guards, but at the same time they do not show aggression towards their owners.

The Tibetan Mastiff is considered a primordially Chinese breed. According to one of the legends, Buddha himself had such a dog. Mastiffs are large dogs weighing up to 100 kilograms. The mastiff's coat is so thick that the dog can be kept outside all year round.

This breed is one of the oldest working dogs that served as a watchman in Tibetan monasteries, and also helped nomads in the Himalayan mountains. Differs in enviable health and longevity. Adult dogs practically do not get sick, and the average life expectancy is 16 years.
