In the world around us (street, district, city) there are places that are familiar and understandable to an adult, but which can open the whole world to a child, broaden his horizons, prepare for the transition to adulthood, and possibly help to decide on a future profession. The transition to adulthood - always a difficult and responsible step for a child, but necessary. Let your joint excursions "to the big world" become a joy for you and your child. Forward!

1. Captain obvious (what if you missed something?) Museums, cinema, concerts, theaters for children and adults, a zoo, an aquarium, ecovillages, nature reserves.

2. Visit to the subway. The metro can bring a lot of joy to a three-year-old kid, and older children will feel proud when planning a route or paving the way to a designated point, coping with transfers and signs at stations (parents in this case can play the role of a silent companion if the child succeeds, or an advisor if the baby has problems).

3. Railway and bus station, airport. What could be more interesting than studying the schedule (and learning to read it) of transport, look at the departure and arrival, how people check in or receive luggage in the lockers, drink tea in the station cafe. Remember yourself - you probably loved to be at the airport and watch the planes take off and land. The kid will probably be interested in how people pass through the "frame", how the airport staff work, where you can weigh the luggage.

In addition, both at the train stations and at the airport there are ticket offices where the child can get the first knowledge about purchasing tickets.

4. Children's library. Even if the child has a thousand books at home and there is no special need for additional literature, it is worth registering him in the library. The library is one of those places where a child is treated like an adult, which means it is a great rehearsal for adult life. And during this rehearsal, the child can learn responsibility and form his first reputation.

5. Hospital. A visit to a doctor in a hospital may well be a "trip to the hospital". Arriving with the child ahead of the appointed time, go through the floors, study the signs on the offices, see how the nurses work at the posts, and so on.

Bank. Already two-year-olds know that parents go to work and receive money for their work, with which they can buy toys and sweets. Perhaps your child will have a new outlook on money if he visits a large branch of the bank, where there are ATMs, many windows, an exchange office, a corner for children and an assistant-consultant who helps fill out the forms.

7. Daddy's and mom's work. At your work, the child will receive a lot of impressions - from the office arrangement, from colleagues, and most importantly - from mom (dad) in a new status.

8. House of Children's Art or House of Culture. With a child 3-4 years old, you can walk through the floors, see what kind of studio circles there are for children, decide what the child would like to do, talk with the leaders of the circles that interest the child, sit in class, and meet the children.

9. Temple. If your family tradition does not include going to church, then it will not be harmful for the child to go on excursions in it.

And if you visit the temple on a regular basis, then it’s nice to look with your children in the temples of other denominations.

10. If a baby will soon appear in the family, then the standard visit to antenatal clinic on the eve of childbirth in order to weigh and measure yourself - a useful event for the child.“My son was already very kind to my pregnant woman and my little brother in her tummy,” says Elya, the mother of 5-year-old Vadik, “and then there was an opportunity to listen to how a tiny heart“squelched”on the CTG apparatus. The list of places where you can (and should!) Be with children goes on. The stadium where sports competitions are held. Boat station in summer. Cafes and restaurants - especially with a "twist" where you can catch fish, take part in cooking or an interactive show. Shopping centers (just go not to the hypermarket near the house, but to the mall, where the child has never been before) - make a route with the child, mark the shops that you would like to visit on the plan, and appoint a navigator - you will get a real adventure. And then there is a pawnshop, police, registry office, court …

Take your child with you to massage courses, to a decoupage lesson and to a tea ceremony, take him to a beauty salon, where the baby will see how his mother is cut, styled and extended her nails, and another time come with the younger one to the parent meeting at school to senior.

The child likes to be with his mother, especially in those places where he has never been before: his horizons expand, and trust in the world (we are afraid of what we do not know) increases. Of course, you need to focus on the age and psychological readiness of your child - somewhere you can go with a three-year-old, and somewhere a ten-year-old child will feel uncomfortable.
