CF "Workshop of Happiness" congratulated the elderly on the New Year

On December 9, 2017, representatives of the Workshop of Happiness CF visited the nursing home with New Year's greetings.

The event took place in the assembly hall of the institution located at the address: Moscow, st. Minskaya, 4. About 60 elderly people and about 25 participants of the Workshop of Happiness Charitable Foundation took part in it.

The President of the Foundation Igor Mikhailovich Antonov opened the event with an opening speech and congratulations.

In the concert part of the event, the participants of the Workshop of Happiness Charitable Foundation sang songs of the Soviet years with a guitar and recited poems. The elderly people, impressed by the performance, took an active part in the concert event.

Among the elderly there was a poetess, a member of the Union of Slavic Journalists, Galina Kindeevna Kuzina, who also spoke with poems of her own composition: "Good to do a holy deed, Good deeds will glorify time …"

The team of the Workshop of Happiness Charity Foundation, in addition to the concert part, presented gifts from the Karotekstil and Karosport companies, sets of pillows and blankets.

Both the guys and the elderly were touched by the warmth and sincerity of the meeting.

In the end, over a joint tea party, the BF team and elderly people talked to each other in an informal setting. The meeting allowed not only to show attention to the elderly, but also to listen to them - the pensioners willingly shared their pressing problems and little joys, told their stories from life and simply thanked the children for the presented holiday.

We hope that this event gave a little joy and warmth to those who turned out to be undeservedly deprived of care and attention, but need them most of all.
