Yesterday, December 19, an ice show of world figure skating stars took place on the main square of Russia. Despite the light snowfall and freezing temperatures, everyone got pleasure: both spectators and performers.

An important feature of this event is that the skaters skated for pleasure - their own and the audience's, not at all competing with each other and not thinking about the mandatory elements of the program. Spectators could enjoy the skills of Olympic champions Irina Slutskaya and Alexey Yagudin, Tatyana Totmianina and Maxim Marinin, Tatyana Navka and Roman Kostomarov, Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze.

The ice show with the participation of the best skaters of Russia and the world is organized by the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR).

The famous Russian coach Tatyana Tarasova took the skaters onto the ice. By the way, it became known that on December 26, when the main Christmas tree of the country will be held in the Kremlin, famous Russian coaches will give a master class at the Kremlin skating rink for all interested boys and girls.

“I gave my first open lesson at the skating rink on Red Square two weeks ago,” Tatiana Tarasova said. “It was attended by almost two thousand children! And the idea arose to arrange another lesson, but also invite our famous figure skaters and coaches. Oleg Vasiliev, Alexander Zhulin, Ilya Averbukh and Elena Vodorezova responded instantly. We decided to time the lesson to coincide with the famous New Year tree in the Kremlin. Santa Claus and Snegurochka will be present at the lesson, and we, therefore, will be additional gifts for the kids. Just kidding, of course. The main thing is that this event will remain in their memory and, perhaps, will lead to figure skating of the future Olympic champion."
