According to the study, which was attended by about 3,500 adults, men spend on average 32 minutes a day on telephone calls, compared with 22 minutes five years ago, according to the British press. The study took into account calls to insurance companies and banks, various merchants, ticket purchases and restaurant reservations over the phone. At the same time, work calls were not included in the calculations.
Almost a third of the men surveyed (29%) named sports as their favorite topic of conversation on the phone, another 22% of the respondents admitted that they most of all like to discuss the secrets of women on the phone, 20% prefer financial issues.
At the same time, the amount of time women spend on phone calls has dropped from 35 minutes five years ago to 26 minutes today. A third of the women surveyed (32%) most of all like to discuss men on the phone, almost the same number most often talk about clothes.
