Sharon Stone officially became a granddaughter. She recently adopted an elderly couple, Neil and Eileen Mitzman, into her family, whom she met in the AIDS Relief Society (both Sharon and Mitzman help HIV-positive people).

In an interview with "Hello" magazine, she said: "Why do people only adopt children? We need to make sure that you can adopt an aunt, brother, even parents, if you want. And I adopted Neil and Eileen."

The Mitsman family adopted two girls in the 70s, but later one of them died in a car accident, and the other died of AIDS. "They suffered a lot, but then they began to work hard and hard to forget their pain and help other people," says Stone. The actress said that the idea to "adopt" the couple came to her in New York when she visited their home in connection with her work in a charity. "While I was sitting with them, I thought how close they became to me. And then I asked them:" Would you like to officially become my grandparents? " that they have been married for 45 years, and have not made any grandchildren, "says the actress.

Now Neil and Eileen are Sharon Stone's official grandparents. They spend a lot of time with her, her parents, go on vacation together. Sharon Stone also has an adopted son, Roan, who is three years old. She and her ex-husband Phil Bronstein adopted the boy while they were still together. Despite this, Phil continues to visit Roan.
