Sometimes, in order to turn an ordinary recipe into an original dish, it is enough to add one non-standard product. The taste from this will become much softer, richer and will be remembered for a long time by every family member and invited guests.

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 kg of lamb;
  • 250 g of rice;
  • 100 g pumpkin;
  • 100 g of onions;
  • 100 g carrots;
  • 50 g olive oil;
  • 20 g chili peppers;
  • 15 g of spices for pilaf;
  • 1 head of garlic;
  • fresh thyme, sea salt, five pepper mix and Italian herbs are added to taste.

Recipe:

  1. Immediately before cooking, pour 2 tablespoons of high-quality olive oil into the multicooker bowl. Then add rice - in this case, rinsing it in seven waters is optional.
  2. We wash the meat under running water, dry it slightly and cut into medium slices. We shift them to the rest of the ingredients.
  3. This is followed by diced carrots and hot peppers. We fill everything with spices for pilaf.
  4. Chop the onions very finely, and cut the pumpkin into small cubes (you can directly with the peel). Add these products along with fresh thyme leaves to a slow cooker. Do not mix anything.
  5. In the middle we put a whole onion right in the husk. But the topmost layer is still recommended to be removed and all possible dirt and sand removed. Add the remaining spices and sea salt to taste.
  6. At the end, pour in a little olive oil and 3 glasses of filtered water. We turn on the "Normal" mode, without changing anything in time.

We serve the finished dish hot. Garlic can be removed or left for beauty if the pilaf is transferred to a large, deep dish.
