What changes will be in the OGE in 2020? This question is being asked by many. And for good reason. After all, many amendments to the legislation are expected. Let's take a closer look at what ninth graders should prepare for in 2020?

Major changes

First of all, it should be discussed whether the changes in the number of subjects taken in 2020 will affect and, in general, whether the number of tasks will decrease.

So, 9th grade graduates will have to take an exam in 4 subjects. Mathematics and Russian are still compulsory. The remaining 2 are chosen by students at their discretion (from the list provided).

In 2020, it was planned to introduce 2 more compulsory disciplines - the history of Russia and the English language. But for now, it was decided to postpone this innovation, since this year there are enough changes that will affect CMMs (control and measuring materials). This could significantly complicate the preparation process for state exams.

Moreover, many were outraged by the decision to make English a compulsory subject. Most teachers are confident that the results can be poor, given the low level of training in this discipline.

These are changes that relate to the items themselves. Otherwise, everything remains the same. Pupils will take an exam at their school according to KIMs, compiled according to the Federal State Educational Standards program, which is the same for all regions of Russia.

What changes have occurred in KIM

What changes have affected KIMs at the moment? This information is also very important. Let's consider this issue in more detail.

Russian language

As mentioned earlier, Russian is a compulsory exam. In 2020, the number of tasks has decreased significantly. If in 2019 there were 15 of them, now their number has decreased to 9, divided into 3 blocks. But don't be in a hurry to rejoice. Yes, there are fewer tasks, but the specifics of the genre for the first task (presentation) have changed significantly. Here students can come across various genres - from reviews to notes from diaries.

The variety of compositions (third block) remained the same as last year. Only the numbering has undergone changes. This will now be 9, the last exercise.

As for the second block, it has almost completely changed. Now, thanks to its implementation, the student's ability to analyze language material will be revealed. It will consist of 7 exercises:

  1. In 2-5 tasks, you will need to make grammatical, spelling and punctuation analyzes.
  2. In exercises 6-8, you will need to find out if the student can work with the text.
  3. It is worth noting that task 2 combines last year's exercises numbered 8 and 11. It requires parsing sentences. In this case, options with answers will be offered.
  4. Exercise 3 assesses the student's ability to perform punctuation analysis. Sentences can come across different - from complex to simple.
  5. In the 4th task, the student will have to parse the text.
  6. Exercise 5 is aimed at identifying the ability of schoolchildren to work with morphemes, spelling, and determine the part of speech. In 2020, students will still have to pass a knowledge test according to the relevant rules.
  7. In tasks 6 and 7, options for answers will now be offered. Otherwise, they do not differ from last year.
  8. Exercise number 8. Here you will need to work with synonyms. Only now the student will have to look for them in the text, and not invent them himself.

235 minutes are allotted for the tasks in the Russian language. The maximum score in this discipline is 33, 9 (earlier it was possible to get 39). If the student received less than 15 points, then the exam is considered a failure.

Maths

What changes in the OGE will be in 2020 regarding the second compulsory subject - mathematics. Tickets for this discipline have also undergone changes. Now students are required to complete 26 tasks (last year there were 20). There will be no clear divisions between geometry and mathematics.

The exam consists of 2 blocks:

• 1st - contains 20 exercises that require a short answer;

• 2nd block consists of 6 tasks - the answer to them should be detailed.

Execution time - 235 minutes. The maximum number of points is 22-32, the minimum is 0-7.

History

The government plans to make history a compulsory subject. In the meantime, the students pass it on their own. There will be 21 questions in the ticket. The tasks are divided into 2 blocks. The first part, consisting of 14 questions, requires a short answer. In the second (with 7 questions), the student needs to justify his answer in more detail.

All tasks will take 3 hours to complete. The maximum score is 34, the minimum is 9.

Previously, students were required to complete 2 tasks: written and oral. Now students will take a single exam, which offers 35 exercises, divided into 4 blocks (the first and second - 8 questions each, the second - 15, the third - 3 orally).

The change takes 135 minutes. The maximum score is 68, the minimum is 29.

It should be noted that the requirements for all languages are the same.

What to do for those who did not pass

Students who fail the OGE are offered 3 options to choose from:

1. Stay in the second year and take the exam again with other students in 2021.

2. Take the exam again in May 2021 (ahead of schedule).

3. To enroll in a paid form of training in a technical school, school, college.

The latter option literally puts an end to the subsequent education. Even those students who have not passed the 2 required exams - Russian language and mathematics - will be able to enter college and get a working profession.
