I was passionate about becoming a business woman. Back in school, I was often asked who my namesake general secretary was. It is a pity that no one. I really wanted to become the general secretary. And here I am the secretary, but not the general. It turned out that there are no such people, and if they do, they do not grow out of secretaries, but I feel like a secretary.

Over the years of work, I received, in addition to the basic, also a very decent psychological education, passed managerial training, completed courses in accountants. It’s just right to get a secretary myself, but something doesn’t let me. This "something" was subjected by me to a special study from the standpoint of management psychology.

It turned out that all my developed abilities, capabilities and qualities cannot be used for personal growth. The secretary has one responsibility - to make the boss feel good. You can not pursue any other interests, including your own.

So it turns out that the manager is engaged in management and does it for the good of the organization, works for it and grows himself. The lawyer provides legality, again for the good of the organization, works for it and grows on its own. The accountant works for the organization and for himself. This raises the question: what kind of organization do they work for? The one where the position is higher and more pay.

And the secretary? Who does the secretary work for? The fact of the matter is that the secretary does not work for the organization and not for himself, but for the Head. If He has planned something, even a dirty trick, the secretary is silent or leaves. The victory of the chief is his personal merit, and in case of a loss, the secretary is also to blame.

It's hard to find a good secretary. And how can you keep it? Letting go to study, giving gifts, throwing money, dedicating to the harsh secrets … Isn't it life? Moreover, the illusion of its importance and necessity is constantly present, which psychologically calms, relaxes and deprives you of the strength to move on.

Yes, it's simple. Secretaries do not create anything except their boss. We have no experience of creating something. Those of us who managed to snatch some connections from the chief have long since opened their own companies or have paid dearly for betrayal. We have not become businesswomen in the literal sense. We serve Him and know nothing else. Dead end. The staircase ended.

Why am I not leaving? But where? I'm used to being with Chef. Find another? It will be the same, only worse. In nature, this is called symbiosis. I am a small fish with a big shark, I feed on what gets stuck in its teeth, I can not get anything myself. I have become a dependent person, I am active, very tired, sociable and outwardly successful dependent!

I discovered a simple law of development: the one who serves the cause grows, and the one who works for the development of another person stops growing and developing!

The conclusion is simple. Anyone who has intelligence, connections, ideas and vitality - do not go to the secretary! This is a dead end. There is no way out of it. Serve some cause, look for yourself and your place. Secretarial service for those who cannot do anything on their own, there is no way out of it. This post will eat up your best dreams and years!
