Tina Kuznetsova, or simply TINA, began her singing career long before her enchanting participation in the Voice 2 project. The future star was born and raised in Kazan. Musical talent manifested itself in early childhood - from the age of 4, the girl began to pick up chords on the piano. According to Tina, her first musical impression was church chants. “It was after I heard him that I began to take an interest in music,” the singer recalls. From the age of 6 she studied at a music school, from which she graduated in piano, and for another 5 years she studied the second instrument - the violin. Falling in love with jazz and taking up vocals, the young singer receives the highest awards in republican and all-Russian competitions. Moving to Moscow, studying at Gnesinka and participating in her own musical projects became another step towards success for Kuznetsova.

Today TINA is a finalist of the "Voice" project and an independent creative person. She actively tours, writes music for herself and other musicians, including pop stars. Many people saw in her "Russian Pink". Tina herself is not worried about such comparisons. She just does what she does best - sings, and her popularity itself is growing day by day. And her beloved husband (Yuri Usachev, a famous musician, a former member of the "Guests from the Future" group) helps Tina in everything - both in her career and, as they say, in creating "the weather in the house."

Tina, how has your life changed after you became a finalist of the Channel One project "Voice 2"?

Thanks to my participation in Golos, I got a tremendous experience, which gave me the opportunity to master the new pace of work that began after the project: hours of shooting, endless rehearsals, a tour …

But initially you didn't want to go on a project, did you? Why?

Indeed, I doubted whether I should go there, asked myself questions: "Why?", "And what am I going to sing?" But my family insisted on participating in the competition as something not discussed, my relatives said that "the country should know its heroes." Always considering myself a self-sufficient musician, I felt the need to overcome some of my fears, to grow professionally. My incomparable mentor Pelageya helped me to make reality even exceed my expectations. And not only she, but also her wise and sensitive mother.

Do you keep in touch with them and with other participants of the "Voice" project?

Yes, absolutely. We are friends with Pelageya in life, however, it is often impossible to see each other. I gladly accepted all her invitations to perform together. And with the girls from "Voice-2" not long ago at my concert in RayJustArena we sang a megamix from covers of songs of female vocal idols: Chucky Khan, Aretha Franklin, Madonna. Artsvik Harutyunyan, Anya Alexandrova and Polina Zizak were on the stage with me. I am very happy about the success of Lena Maksimova and, of course, Nargiz. In general, there was a feeling of unity and community of the participants in the show, at least we had one global goal - to reveal to the general public little-known layers of performance and musical culture of Russian megacities! (Laughs.)

Follow the show as a spectator?

Unfortunately, I don't have time to spend Friday evenings in front of the TV, but I try to revise the landmark stages of the project on the Internet. I remember very much, for example, the powerful and bright performance of Mariam Merabova.

How are you going to please your fans in the near future?

Recently on the YouTube channel StarPRO my new video for the song "I Live with a Smile" officially started, before that the mini-album of the same name was released on iTunes. The plans include the official releases of undoubted hits and the shooting of clips. In addition, I am finally going to visit Siberia with a concert tour! By the way, my paternal relatives lived there for a long time, but I never managed to visit there as a child, so I will catch up now.

Your popularity has led to a busy schedule. How do you now cope with this and the responsibilities of a young mother (Tina's husband is Yuri Usachev, a famous musician, a former member of the "Guests from the Future" group. In the fall of 2010, the couple had a son, who was named Gabriel - ed.)?

My status as a mother does not interfere in the least, but, on the contrary, helps me in the process of work. After all, communication with a baby, and even at such an interesting age, allows you to rediscover and learn simple, but at the same time complex things! When I read fairy tales to him and sang lullabies, many ideas were born and then realized musically. Unconditional love and childish affection that meets me at home after a tour or voluminous concert programs, restore my mental balance and motivate me to new achievements. And all this is helped by two beloved grandmothers, who in turn come to visit from our hometowns with my husband, and, in addition, we have a babysitter.

What has made you happy with your son Gabriel lately?

I assembled a LEGO set, designed for children from 8 to 14 years old, according to the instructions. But he is only 4!

Which parent is he more like?

By the general verdict, Gabriel is declared similar to the pope, and he himself considers him the main arbiter in resolving his differences with the world. (Laughs.) From the very beginning, they started to really be friends. And from me, most likely, he took spontaneity and love for the public, although I observe in him features that clearly inherited from my grandfather, some kind of non-standard thinking, wit, independence …
