On February 21, the theater of the musical presents, perhaps, the main premiere of February - an unusual plastic experiment-play "REVERSE".
Reverse actors blur the boundaries between dramatic and physical theater, choreography and acrobatics. However, falling from a height, flying over spectators, balancing on dynamic pylons and other tricks are not just spectacular techniques, but a means of storytelling and revealing the inner world of characters.
The director's duet of Andrei Koltsov and Irina Drozhzhina turns the theater stage into a real laboratory for researching the capabilities of the human body and spirit. Both directors made a significant contribution to the productions of Cirque du Soleil, and on the stage of the Musical Theater they will tell a story about the external and internal struggle of a person to the music written by the composer Misha Mishchenko especially for this project.
The choreography is the responsibility of Debra Brown, who stood at the origins of the same Cirque du Soleil. Worldwide fame was brought to her by her works for the New York Metropolitan Opera, the Chicago Lyric Opera, the films Catwoman, Van Helsing. As well as collaboration with Madonna, Celine Dion, Bjork, Shakira and other world pop stars. Responsible for the light is Joachim Barth, the owner of the Golden Mask, who worked on the performances of Peter Stein.
