The idea of erecting the monument belongs to the Public Television of Russia. The search for finances is carried out through a special site that attracts sponsors for the authors of various projects, writes vesti.ru. “Each of his fans dreams of touching the“beautiful”at least once. We give this opportunity to everyone. In the most romantic place in the country - the Sochi embankment - we want to erect a bronze monument to Stas. So that every woman in the country could look at the sunset over the sea in an embrace with her idol,”the website says.

Last weekend, a scandal erupted around the Social Network program - the leadership of the Public Television took off the air an issue in which the news of the divorce of Vladimir and Lyudmila Putin was played up in a humorous manner. However, the channel's general director Anatoly Lysenko said that the episode was filmed because the program was “completely unprepared” for technical reasons.

But for the implementation of the venture, it is required to collect 2 million 550 thousand rubles by June 30 of this year. But so far the project has only 300 rubles in its treasury.

However, on Public Television they said that collecting money for a monument to Mikhailov is a comic experiment conducted by the authors of the Social Network program. They are preparing a story about crowdfunding in Russia and for this they decided to try to raise money via the Internet. After the program aired, all money was promised to be returned to the campaign participants.
