Pills for insomnia, pain relievers, pills for stress … In the near future, such a familiar list may be supplemented by pills for sweat. Or rather, a kind of drug that gives the product of the activity of the sweat glands a pleasant aroma.

Previously, scientists found that the aroma of men's sweat is similar to the smell of cheese, and women's sweat is similar to the smell of onions. In a word, the fairer sex, due to an annoying mistake of nature, does not smell as attractive as we would like.

Artist Lucy McCrae from the Netherlands came up with a wonderful idea: instead of hiding the natural “amber” of her body with perfume, why not make it more pleasant?

To bring the idea to life, McRae teamed up with Harvard biologist Sheref Mansy. And the first results of the work have already been obtained - the specialists managed to create a smell that adapts to the body of each person. The mechanism works thanks to specially synthesized lipid molecules, which mimic natural fat molecules by their action.

As soon as a person swallows a capsule of perfume, its own metabolic reactions release its lipids, and the smell "exits" through the pores.

During the day, small portions of perfume will show through on the skin and stand out with sweat. At the same time, the aroma will be slightly different each time, revealing all new notes. The fact is that molecules react to body temperature, pulse rate and even, as the creators promise, to the level of sexual arousal.

Of course, experts have a lot of work to do on testing the drug, but the creators of Swallowable Parfum hope that their project will be a huge success.
