According to information from law enforcement agencies, today part of a batch of Motorola C115 mobile phones, recognized as harmful to health due to the increased level of radiation and seized by law enforcement agencies, has gone on sale in Russia. A batch of these phones was confiscated by a special department from the Euroset company in the spring of this year. 50 thousand of these pipes were found to be harmful to human health and had to be destroyed. But the prosecutor's office suspects that about 30 thousand pipes were stolen and hit the market. The telephones from Euroset were seized because the products turned out to be contraband and there were no documents for them. Simply put, the cell phones in the showrooms turned out to be fake.
The Russian newspaper "Vzglyad" conducted its own small investigation, in which one of the market participants told the newspaper that the equipment confiscated by law enforcement agencies "later has a habit of appearing on the market where it is sold at reduced prices." In particular, in February 2006, a batch of phones seized in March 2005 was sold. Then, judging by the RFBR guarantee, the Lart phone could be bought for 50 rubles 16 kopecks, Philips - for 55 rubles 53 kopecks, the Iriver MP3 player - for 172 rubles 95 kopecks, the Rover Shot camera - for 291 rubles 55 kopecks, and a bag for telephone "Euroset" - for 3 rubles 97 kopecks.
In general, it is unpleasant to learn that a beloved mobile phone, which for a modern person today is not only a means of communication, but also a part of the image, can turn out to be a cheap and dangerous contraband product. As a result, it is better to spend money once and sleep peacefully for the next six months.
