The co-owner of the Anatomy beauty and health clinic of Tom Aliyev proved by her example that anyone can succeed in business. But only on condition that the chosen business is really pleasant and enjoyable.
A young, successful, self-confident and damn attractive woman - this is how you can describe Tom Aliyev. Despite being overly busy, she managed to carve out a little time in her busy schedule to answer Cleo's questions. What university did you study at? Did you like your chosen specialty? And how did you then come up with the idea of opening your own clinic?
- I studied at three educational institutions. At first I entered college as a cosmetologist, but my dad did not allow me to continue my studies in this specialty. Later she studied at the National Institute of Business and Moscow State Technical University. N. E. Bauman as a financier. It so happened that then I was very young and wanted to please my parents, so I was doing only what they thought was right. But, having matured, I realized that I was ready to change this and live the way I liked.
Opening my own clinic was a dream of mine. I went to her for a long time and along the way I was disappointed in many other projects that were in my plans. But in the end I came to understand that cosmetology is mine.
How do you think the path to beauty and grooming begins?
- With self-confidence! If the girl or woman does not have it, then there is nothing to say about the rest. Of course, you cannot do without the desire to become better.
Have you had any work experience in any other area, different from your current activity?
- At different periods of my life, I worked in the banking sector and in the beauty industry. But none of this inspired me. Rather, it was more of a disappointment to me. Therefore, before starting my own business, I seriously thought about what I would like to do, which would bring me both pleasure and income.
Tell us about the ups and downs. How do you deal with them?
- In my life there have been both grandiose ups and downs, unfortunately. My character and the realization that mistakes or failures are lessons for the future helps me to cope with the latter. Thanks to them, I can say that I have become a good psychologist and now I can recognize who should be trusted and who should not. Although, most likely, this is just my intuition.
What does success mean to you?
- Success is self-confidence. This is when you realize in an instant that you are proud of yourself and your brainchild. When you can say to yourself: “Yes, you are really great! You did it!”, And your business - what you love with all your soul - also becomes a successful project that continues to develop.
Are there people who inspire you?
- I am inspired by my mother, who raised and educated five children. She always told me that no matter how the circumstances developed, you need to remain a decent person. Your conscience must be clear.
How do you like to spend your free time?
- Honestly, I have almost no free time. But when I have a few free hours, I devote them to my loved ones, girlfriends or sports. These are the usual moments that bring me satisfaction.
How do you see your ideal day?
- Get up early in the morning, have coffee and go to the fitness room, and then go to your favorite job. See friends in the evening and then return home. This is what a perfect day looks like to me, but how my morning really starts, I’d better keep it a secret. (laughs)
Each project has its own philosophy. What is Anatomy like?
- First-class treatments that are usually expensive on the market at affordable, even low prices. Comfort in everything, from the location: the clinic is a stone's throw from the metro station. We offer a full range of services: from "A" to "Z", and also always focus on devices from Germany, the functioning of which we control. We are accountable to our suppliers and carry out an “audit” every week.
Imagine: you have a single day off with a ton of things to do, and besides that, you would like to attend several self-care procedures. Why do you need to travel from one end of the city to another to different specialists, while losing precious time, if you can come to one place and do everything there at once?
What is the reason for the low cost?
- We "take" in a stream. If some clinics have one or two devices, then we have ten. During the year we received 70,000 clients, and only twice did we receive complaints and negative reviews, and they were not objective.
Tell us about the clients of "Anatomy", what are they?
- When I was going to open the clinic, I thought for a long time how to make sure that we could reach everyone without distinction by social status, age and financial situation. It turned out that those who believe that this is impossible are greatly mistaken! Our clients are both famous personalities and wealthy women, as well as young girls who are just starting to build a career and earn money.
If here you are provided with a quality service at a better price, then why pay more for it? We do not have aggressive sales: we do not try to "siphon" money from people, we provide free consultations to absolutely every visitor.
We are not guided by anyone. This is entirely our project. I have always dreamed that I could come to one clinic and do everything necessary to take care of myself. That is why for the development of the project I invest exactly as much as I earn.
I get incredible pleasure when I see so many people come to us. And it's not so important whether they bring us five hundred rubles or five thousand. The main thing is that they like to be our clients.
What are the intra-company standards of the clinic?
- All specialists who work with us love their work. They enjoy the fact that clients come out with smiles on their faces after their procedures. If a person comes only for the sake of money, and he is no longer interested in anything, then we will not accept him into the team.
I believe that every work should be paid, and I do not hide the fact that Anatomy's employees have good wages. But that's because they work hard. We, like many others, have penalties, a motivation system, and career growth.
What plans does Anatomy have for the future?
- Do your best to make girls and women feel beautiful and confident. I am thinking of bringing in something related to style and shopping. And I would also like to create a children's corner.
We also plan to open a second clinic, because there are periods when it is very difficult to get to us, and you need to make an appointment two months before the procedure. In the future, I do not exclude the expansion of the network of clinics throughout Russia.
