Ninety percent of buyers choose doors solely in appearance, color and design, leaving the reliability, durability and ease of use of doors without attention at all, why?

Definitely, this is not done either in England, or in Germany, or in most other countries, devoting ninety percent of their attention to practicality. Here is a story from practice (one of the door sellers in Israel). This case is not an isolated one, but the most typical one.

The buyer, having chosen the cheapest doors from the assortment, starts a conversation with the seller:

- If a child kicks the door hard, will there be a hole in it?

- How old is the child?

- Twelve years old.

It must be said that the Israeli seller is not ready for such questions. When he is asked whether the door can withstand the weight of the car, if it is hit, he does not ask the buyer what such a need may be, but takes the sawn half of the door specially for demonstration purposes, takes it out of the office, puts it on the asphalt, and runs it over with his own by minibus. He gets out of the car, clarifies whether the client intends to purchase doors. He is forced to agree that the doors, in general, are not bad and promises to come up in three or four months, since he is going to renovate the apartment next year.

Ours and from the former Soviet republics, the buyer, of course, is not a spender, but he pays only ten percent to the issues of practicality, because advertising for doors involves him in the game "how beautiful and cheap!"

In reality, however, the question of practicality should be considered even more rigorously with doors than with furniture. Furniture, in the event of its premature failure, is quite simple to replace (if you do not delve into the financial costs). Replacing a door is incomparably more difficult. These are renovations in the premises, often accompanied by the replacement of wall finishes. What should you pay attention to so that design and practicality do not contradict each other? Those. beautiful design is not a guarantee of the high quality of the doors. And price is not the only determining factor here. More important is how the doors were made.
