With a former tennis player, and now financial advisor Ruben Torres, the actress met for almost a year. In December, the couple began to appear together at social events, and, surrounded by the stars, they assured that Hilary's new romance was serious.

The insiders weren't wrong. The day before, Swank posted on Instagram a photo with her beloved, in which she demonstrates a luxurious ring. “Let's go hiking and it happened! I am happy to share with you the news of my engagement to my dear Ruben,”Swank signed.

Recall that at one time the actress was a victim of the notorious "Oscar curse" - in 2005 she received a prestigious award for her role in the film "Million Dollar Baby", and in 2007 she divorced actor Chad Lowe.
