Actress Marina Aleksandrova tries herself in a new, slightly unusual role. The star of the film "Street Racers" plays the legend of Russian pop music Edita Piehu in a biopic about the singer. Filming of the multi-part film has already started in St. Petersburg, and, in all likelihood, the first episode can be seen on the screen in the fall.

The director of the film, consisting of 10 episodes, is Vladimir Shevelkov. According to him, Edita Piekha is one of the brightest stars of the northern capital, a standard of style and taste.

“Edita Piekha is a 100% Petersburg star,” said the director. - But the film will be not so much about her as about the relationship between the singer and her husband Alexander Bronevitsky. These people deserve to be told a beautiful story. And I would like the audience to watch the film with pleasure."

The plot of the picture is built around the relationship of the singer with her husband Alexander Bronevitsky. The creators of the biopic want to tell the story of the artists' acquaintance, about their work in the Druzhba ensemble, as well as Bronevitsky's departure from life. As you know, Edita Stanislavovna broke up with her first husband in 1976. According to the couple's friends, the former spouses only had to take a small step towards each other in order to be together again. But they did not dare.

The role of Bronevitsky fell to the actor Igor Petrenko, who recently broke up with his wife Ekaterina Klimova.
