This is exactly the kind of alignment that most modern women strive for: successful at work, they want to remain ideal housewives. Gone are the days when a girl was viewed solely as the keeper of the hearth; today, many large companies are dominated by bosses in skirts, and their followers are working hard in offices to ultimately achieve the same success. But no matter how much we want to assert ourselves in a career plan, they will never stop expecting delicious dinners, clean shirts and bedtime stories from us. Sometimes it becomes extremely difficult to combine the two poles - career and family - and you have to either make a choice or turn into a wonder woman.

Most women today are struggling with the question: how to combine two such incompatible phenomena and at the same time not curse the whole world?

They say that any man will only be happy if one day you tell him that you have decided to quit and devote yourself to your family. Like, it's calmer for him - they are always waiting for him, the house is clean and tidy, you can forget about dumplings and scrambled eggs. In fact, everything is not simple, situations are different, however, like people. For some families, the financial situation does not allow only the husband to work. In other couples, the man is slowly losing interest in the woman, whose interests are limited by the walls of their apartment. And sometimes the fair sex herself cannot imagine herself without an office, colleagues and what she loves. Be that as it may, but most women today are struggling with the question: how to combine two such incompatible phenomena and at the same time not curse the whole world? We hope our tips will help at least a little for those who are trying to keep everything under control.

Do not drive yourself

In our everyday life, in fact, there are not so many responsibilities that require fulfillment here and now. Much of the huge to-do list for today can be divided between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, while keeping your nervous system healthy and freeing up an hour or two for rest. Therefore, if today after work you wanted to cook lunch for tomorrow, disassemble the closet, iron a bunch of linen and help the child with the lessons, do not rush to take on everything at once. Prioritize by choosing what you must do today, and distribute the rest of the points between the following days, leave something for the weekend. Do not drive yourself, you will definitely not experience happiness from this way of life.

Don't take it all on yourself

And this applies to both work and family. In the office, be harsher if you are once again asked to take papers home or go out on a weekend, while your colleagues have already forgotten about overtime. If other employees can fulfill these responsibilities, tactfully invite your superiors to release you from them for a while. And at home, do not hesitate to ask for help from loved ones, both moral and physical. If it is difficult for you and it seems that you are not doing anything, talk to your husband, tell about your experiences.

An understanding spouse will listen and tell you how to relieve your fragile female shoulders. The same applies to household chores: forget the phrase “if you want to do well, do it yourself”, do not teach household members that the wife and mother are responsible for everything, otherwise one day you will understand that no one is even trying to wash a cup after themselves …

Don't ignore important family events …

… And notify management in advance. If your daughter will be performing at the school matinee next Friday, tell the boss about it on Monday. Most executives are accommodating to their subordinates when they ask them to leave work a couple of hours early for a good reason. Show that you value and respect your boss, but you will not compromise your family for the sake of working interests. Perhaps you will be asked to do some work in advance, then allocate time wisely so as not to feel like a trampled horse.

Don't ignore family fun

Of course, sometimes after a difficult week of work there is only one desire - to hide under the covers and watch silly films with one eye, but believe me, after such a rest you will not feel cheerful and ready for new achievements. It is much more correct (and more pleasant) to get together with your family and go to nature, to visit relatives or to an entertainment center. Going out like this will help keep your family close and energized for the next work week.

Become a time management guru

Legendary Coco Chanel said: “There is a time to work and a time to love. There is no other time. This phrase should be adopted by you. The main thing is to clearly understand when what time. You work in the office, but as soon as you go outside, go home to your family, leaving work for tomorrow. Do not confuse these two concepts, devote your time to each part of your life and do not waste your time on insignificant trifles.

Change your job

If work for you is only a source of financial well-being and you do not strive to achieve career heights in a specific direction and in a specific company, then you should not hold on to a position that takes too much of your time and effort. Consider changing your place of work, looking for something that will suit you better and will allow you to be with your family more often.
