Yesterday it became known about the death of the famous Russian composer Vladimir Shainsky. He passed away on December 25 in San Diego, USA. Now the question of holding a funeral is being decided.
As the son of the composer said, he connects the death of his father with the transferred oncology. “These are the consequences of the surgery and, in addition, age. He was ninety-two years old on December 12th. The operation was long ago. There was cancer,”Vyacheslav Shainsky told reporters.
The composer's widow said that during this year Shainsky practically did not complain about his health and was in a great mood. On December 15, Vladimir Yakovlevich's condition deteriorated sharply, he was hospitalized.
According to the widow, the composer did not leave orders about the place of burial, since he did not really think about it, he "did not really like to talk" about death.
Now the question of holding a funeral is being decided. “It's Christmas, holidays and weekends in the US right now, and it's pretty difficult. But for now we plan to bury here, although if there are any proposals from Russia, then I will be open,”Shainskaya told TASS reporters.
