International Women's Day is coming, which we used to consider a pleasant holiday. But alas. Not so simple. Everything changes over time. Even the attitude to the holidays.

As it turned out, some Russians have a negative attitude towards March 8.

“International Women's Day this year lost its popularity on February 23rd. 44 percent of citizens have a definite positive attitude to March 8, meanwhile 51 percent of the country's residents called themselves admirers on February 23,”Natalya Golovanova, head of the Superjob research center, told the Russian News Service.

According to the center, 30% of respondents are sympathetic to March 8, 22% are indifferent to the holiday, another 2% said that they do not like it.

By the way, according to the observations of experts, the majority of women on March 8 prefer to receive jewelry, lingerie and tickets for entertainment events as a gift. Unsuccessful gifts are: perfumes and anti-aging creams, sweets, dietary books and household goods (such as pots and pans). At the same time, many men believe that their friends expect clothes, gadgets and books from them as gifts.
