What does chocolate smell like? It would seem a bit strange question. However, as scientists have found out, the chocolate aroma itself does not exist in nature, but it is a composite of several hundred separate odors. For example, from the smell of sweat, chips, cucumbers and even cabbage.
Peter Schieberle and his colleagues at the Technical University in Munich have found that chocolate and cocoa do not have a special volatile molecule that would have a "chocolate" smell. Scientists have found about 600 molecules in cocoa powder that form a "mosaic" of chocolate flavor. Some of them arise during the primary processing of cocoa beans, others - during their frying and grinding, and still others - already in the human mouth. Individually, these molecules smell like potato chips, fried meat and cabbage, cucumbers, honey, and even human sweat.
“When a piece of chocolate enters your mouth, a chemical reaction takes place. Some people bite off a piece of the tile and swallow it right away. In this case, no reaction occurs, and you are depriving yourself of the unique taste and aroma of chocolate, Schiberle quotes RIA Novosti.
Meanwhile, scientists from the University of Cambridge concluded that higher chocolate consumption is directly correlated with a lower risk of heart disease.
"High consumption of chocolate reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease by 37% and the risk of stroke by 29%," the researchers note. Moreover, the analysis showed that both dark and milk chocolate act equally well on the body as a prophylactic agent. It does not matter in what form you use it: in the form of bars, bars or chocolate cocktails. But keep in mind that dark chocolate contains far more antioxidants, which experts believe provide health benefits.

What role do pheromones play in the relationship between opposite sexes? Scientists have not yet come to an unambiguous opinion. Some experts believe that specific substances secreted by the human body often cause a much stronger sexual response in the opposite sex than attractive appearance.
You are like a widow and I am like a bachelor
From time immemorial, civil marriage was considered a relationship that was not illuminated by the sacrament of a wedding. Time passed, morals changed, and the familiar term "civil marriage" acquired a different meaning. Now this is the name for alliances based on feelings and oral agreement, but not officially recognized by either the church or the state. I was interested in the opinions of those who live with their partners without formalities or adhere to such a position. Here are the answers I heard from passers-by on the street: I

Smell like evidence
Human scent is as unique as fingerprints. Until now, this fact has not been scientifically confirmed. Now all the evidence is there, and, perhaps, soon forensic scientists will identify criminals not by "fingers", but by chemical compounds, traces of which remain in the air.
