Postcard with doves of peace
Crafts for May 9 with their own hands for the competition at school are made quickly and it turns out to be very original.
What you need:
- colored cardboard for crafts - blue, gold, red or pink;
- paper - white, red;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- PVA glue.
Manufacturing:
- On the blue cardboard we make markings from the top on the front side, then, on the back side, draw four lines.
- First, from the edge of the paper to the right along its length, set aside a size equal to the desired width of the main postcard, put a dot on the back side.
- Divide the size that remained on the left in half and put one more point. Turn the paper over and draw two main lines across the entire width along the marked points.
- Further, from the main lines we count 3 cm to the left and draw two more auxiliary lines.
- We turn the paper over to the front side and make folds along the drawn lines, folding the paper in a kind of accordion.
- The base of the postcard is ready, now we are preparing the decor elements.
- We cut out 4 doves from white paper according to a template that must be downloaded in advance.
- On each blank dove, draw eyes with a felt-tip pen.
- Cut out a laurel twig from golden cardboard, and cut out the inscription "May 9" from red paper.
- We glue the pigeons, distributing them one by one on the outer surfaces of the card and two on the central surface. We position the pigeons so that they go beyond the boundaries of the surfaces of the postcard, creating a three-dimensional effect.
- We glue the inscription on the craft from below, and glue a branch of golden paper on the last surface of the postcard for May 9, the one on the left. As you can see, this craft can be done with your own hands quickly and beautifully and taken to the competition at school.

Interesting! When Radonitsa in 2019
What you need:
- colored cardboard for crafts - pink or red;
- three artificial flowers;
- a piece of St. George's ribbon;
- a printed poem on the theme of the Great Victory;
- PVA glue;
- scissors;
- pencil;
- lighter;
- ruler.
Manufacturing:
- We turn over the colored cardboard and make markings, first drawing a middle line along the entire length, as shown in the video.
- Divide the length of a sheet of cardboard on one side into several segments, first measuring two small segments from the edge to the left for the first step of the postcard.
- Further, we will have two more steps, but wider, from this calculation we draw the remaining lines.
- Along the center line dividing the cardboard in half, we make a cut, without cutting one size on the left and one step size on the right.
- We bend half of the postcard without markings in half, and bend the half with markings in steps, as shown in the photo.
Now that the base of the postcard is ready, we are preparing the elements of the thematic decor
- Cut out the printed poem and "age" the paper on which it is printed. Why do we use tea leaves and a sponge. After the paper is dry, smooth it out with an iron.
- The edges of the paper are scorched with fire from a lighter.
- We glue the prepared blank to the left side of the postcard.
- At the bottom of the postcard, we place a slightly twisted St. George ribbon, fix it in place with glue.
- We glue one prepared flower on the ribbon.
- We place the other two flowers on the step of the handicraft - a postcard made by hand quickly and very beautifully for May 9th.
- From below we glue a small rectangle cut out of golden cardboard on the step, making an inscription on it with a felt-tip pen “May 9!”. The craft for the competition at school is ready.
Carnation bouquet
Even a 1st grade schoolchild can perform these Victory flowers, but it turns out very beautifully and effectively.
What you need:
- white and red paper napkins, only red carnations can be made;
- green chenille wire pieces;
- scissors.
Manufacturing:
- We fold paper napkins unfolded on top of each other, 2 - 3 napkins each.
- Then we fold each rectangular blank with an accordion.
- In the middle we tie the edge of the chenille wire.
- Sharpen the ends of the folded rectangles with scissors.
- We straighten the structure, lifting one layer of petals up, the carnation is ready.
- So we make up a whole festive bouquet - a hand-made craft for May 9. We look forward to taking the bouquet to the competition at the school in the 3rd grade, not forgetting to tie it with a St. George ribbon.

Brooch for a veteran
A craft is being carried out using the kanzashi technique, which girls of grade 3 will gladly want to master at school.
What you need:
- black felt base in the form of a circle, 6 cm in diameter;

- tweezers for kanzashi;
- brooch clasp;
- polymer glue in a syringe.
Manufacturing:
- We cut off five pieces from the tape for crafts on May 9, 11 cm long.
- We wrap each segment so that the ends are connected "overlapping". We fold the connection line in a kind of accordion, insert it into the tweezers and fix the candles on the fire, sealing the structure.
- So we prepare five elements, then we connect them together in the form of a flower, gluing each flower to each other with a glue gun.
- In the center we glue the prepared button, suitable for the theme of the holiday.
- Fold the rest of the ribbon in half, fix the fold with glue.
- We coat the top of the folded ribbon and glue it to the felt circle.
- On the other side of the felt circle, glue the brooch fastener using a glue gun.
- At the end, we glue the flower from the St. George ribbon, made with our own hands, on a felt base. Cut out the triangles from the bottom of the ribbon.

Volumetric Star of Victory
To make this craft for May 9 for a competition at a school, which grade 4 pupils can easily master with their own hands, the help of adults will be required at the initial stage. The child will be happy to decorate a ready-made large star.
What to prepare:
- A1 paper;
- pencil;
- protractor;
- glue gun;
- red paper napkins;
- stapler.
Manufacturing:
On paper, with the help of an adult, we make the markings of the six-pointed star. It is not at all difficult to make it, having a protractor. We put aside 60 * between the rays and draw a six-pointed star for the competition that will be held at the school
Select any segment between the two rays and make a cut to the center of the connection of the rays
We bend all the rays up, coat one of them with glue
- We connect the missed ray with the neighboring one, the whole structure has become three-dimensional.
- We turn it over with a cone upward and proceed to the manufacture of decorative elements for the star.
- We open all the napkins and put two or three jokes on top of each other. We fold again in its original form.
- We fasten all the squares from napkins with a stapler in the center. We round off the edges of the napkins, make circular cuts.
We fluff up all the blanks for the carnations and glue them on the star. We got just a gorgeous terry star
- Moreover, it can be decorated with carnations, either of the same color, or you can combine shades.
- The star for the competition, made according to the step-by-step description, is suitable both in a self-contained form and as part of other compositions.

Painting for May 9
Peaceful themes are also always present at contests dedicated to the Great Victory Day, pigeons, flowers traditionally accompany all festive events.
What you need:
- frame for A4 size photos;
- a small piece of milk-colored foamiran material;
- satin ribbons 2.5 cm wide - red, white, gray;
- satin braid 6 mm wide;
- steel-colored cord to match the gray satin ribbon;
- chenille wire red;
- half-beads in black;
- candle;
- St. George Ribbon;
- tweezers for kanzashi.
Manufacturing:
On paper we draw two doves and an eternal flame, every elementary school student can do this
- We disassemble the prepared frame, remove the cardboard from it. We glue the cardboard from the frame with foamiran, gluing it with glue around the entire perimeter.
- We put our pigeons and place an eternal fire below. Using a toothpick, we pierce the contours of the blanks, remove the blanks themselves.
In the middle of the picture we glue the St. George ribbon, placing it in spectacular waves. In the middle we decorate the ribbon with prepared stars or one big star
We make small sharp petals from the gray ribbon using the kanzashi technique, fix them over the candle flame. You will need a lot of such elements from white, red and gray tape, so it is better to prepare them in advance
We glue the base of the eternal flame with gray petals. We glue the fire itself with red petals
- We decorate with a piece of cord the border between the fire and the base.
- Also, using white petals, we glue the contours of the pigeons with them, placing the petals with sharp ends outside the contour, creating a plumage effect. We glue the black half-beads as beaks.
- We fill the entire surface of the pigeons with petals, glue the legs in red.
- On the empty seats, we make congratulatory inscriptions for May 9. At the bottom we glue two dates, making numbers from chenille wire.

- a piece of St. George's ribbon;
- wooden sticks from a set for plants.
Manufacturing:
- We fold the tubes in a volumetric bundle and tie them in the middle with any available material that you have.
- We bend all the tubes, lifting them so that the “beams of the fireworks” scatter in different directions.
- So we make two or three blanks and attach them to a wooden stick, placing them at different levels.
- We tie a St. George ribbon on a stick in the form of a bow, it turned out beautifully and very quickly.
Tank for Victory Day

- We glue 5 wheels together, and the outer wheels are glued with their upward displacement.
- We glue the wheels with whole strips of the same corrugated paper, so we got the tank tracks.
- Cut out a small rectangle of arbitrary size from green cardboard, glue it to the tank tracks from above.
- Install a double turret on the tank's armor. We make a double tower from two blanks, one with a larger diameter, the other with a smaller one.
- We twist the blanks like wheels made of strips of corrugated paper for quilling.
- We glue the towers together and glue them on green rectangular paper, which serves as the armor of the tank.
- Twist the muzzle out of a rectangle cut from the same cardboard as the armor. We glue it in place by gluing a small twisted piece at the end.
- On top of the tower we glue a small circle - a hatch, and on the side we glue a star.
- We install a hand-made tank, made by hand for the competition, on any stand and glue the twisted St. George ribbon. On the pedestal, you can make an inscription dedicated to the holiday of May 9.
