Halloween 2020 is the most mysterious and mystical holiday, for which they prepare in a special way. We suggest you make crafts with your own hands, but not monsters, but cute and funny products for children.

Jack's Lantern

Jack's Lantern is the most recognizable attribute of Halloween. Traditionally, such a craft is cut from a pumpkin or turnip. It is believed that such a lantern helps restless souls find their way to Purgatory, and the flame burning in the pumpkin scares away evil spirits. Jack's Lantern for Halloween 2020 can be made scary, elegant, or funny for children.

Materials:

  • pumpkin;
  • sample;
  • spoon, knife, awl;
  • candle (flashlight, garland);
  • marker, scotch tape.

Master Class:

  • Choose a bright, medium-sized pumpkin without damage. And also we decide on what we will use for lighting. If it's a candle, then cut off the top of the pumpkin, and if it's a garland or flashlight, then the bottom.
  • Gently scrub the pulp together with the seeds with a regular spoon.
Image
Image
  • We print out the finished face template and fix it on the peel with tape. We outline the contour with a marker.
  • After that, remove the template and cut out all the details of the face along the contour.
Image
Image
Image
Image
  • Put coffee beans, cinnamon, nutmeg or vanilla inside the pumpkin. This will add flavor to the craft.
  • We take a candle, which should be 3 times smaller than the pumpkin itself, and fix it well inside.
Image
Image

If the pumpkin is with a lid, then you need to make several holes in it so that the heated air can escape. When using a garland or flashlight, simply cut off the bottom and place a light source inside the pumpkin.

Halloween paper crafts

For Halloween 2020, you can make very funny and interesting paper crafts. We offer several ideas at once that are especially suitable for children - even toddlers can do all the work with their own hands.

Haunted garland

Fold a plain A4 sheet of white paper in half lengthwise, cut it

Image
Image

We fold the strip in half, bend one edge to the middle, turn it over and bend the other edge. The result should be an accordion

Image
Image
Image
Image

Using a pencil, draw a ghost with eyes and a smile

Image
Image

Now everything is simple: we cut out the ghosts along the contour, be sure to cut through the smile and eyes. We unfold the blank and get a garland with cute ghosts.

Image
Image

Pumpkin

Cut out two strips 7 cm wide from A4 paper of orange color

Image
Image
  • We fold the strip in half, and then bend the right and left edges to the middle.
  • We turn it over, bend the right edge to the extreme left line, and the left edge to the extreme right.
Image
Image
  • Then we bend each edge to the lines nearest to it.
  • Fold the strip into an accordion, and then in half.
Image
Image

Cut off the corners. Be careful here not to cut off the side folds

Image
Image
  • We make exactly the same blank from the second strip of paper.
  • We put two blanks together so that the extreme single leaves look in one direction - up or down.
Image
Image
  • Cut out a ponytail and a thin strip for curls from green paper.
  • We put the tail and curl between the two blanks and fasten with a stapler.
Image
Image

We connect the outer leaves, glue their upper parts. There should be four such connections

Image
Image

Now it remains to straighten the accordion and use scissors to make curls. And if you wish, you can glue the eyes and a smile cut out of paper to the pumpkin.

For the craft, we cut out different geometric shapes: a large black triangle, 3 white circles (2 small and 1 large). Rectangles: 3 black (2 equal sizes), green thin, 2 orange, 1 brown thin

Image
Image

We glue the face, that is, a large circle, on a large triangle, and orange hair around the head. To do this, cut the rectangle into thin strips

Image
Image
  • Glue a black rectangle to the upper part of the face, that is, the hem of the hat. And a green rectangle overlaps directly on top.
  • We glue our hands to the triangle, and to them - white circles, that is, palms.
Image
Image

Now we are making a broom. We take a brown rectangle, cut the edge into small strips and roll it up with a tube

We glue the broom to the handles, and then draw the eyes, nose and smile for the witch. Here's a nice hack turned out.

Halloween Cards

You can make very beautiful postcards from paper for Halloween. And even if you do not celebrate this holiday, then still make such cards with your children, the kids will definitely like them. We offer 3 cool ideas at once.

Haunted card

  • We take a brown sheet of paper measuring 14.5x21 cm. And also loose green cardboard measuring 13.5x20 cm.
  • We fold each leaf in half.
  • On a green sheet, namely at the place of the fold, we make marks: 2 cm, 1.5 cm, 4 cm and 2.5 cm.
Image
Image
  • According to the marks above, we draw 2 segments of 2.5 cm and 2 segments of 1.5 cm.
  • We connect the segments into strips and only make cuts along the segments.
Image
Image

We bend the strips strongly, open the leaf and bend the strips inward. Then we close the sheet again and iron everything well

Image
Image

Now we decorate the postcard. On top we glue black clouds, and below we write the inscription "BOO!". Apply glue to the bottom of the strips and glue pictures: a ghost and a pumpkin. And finally, glue it on a brown sheet of paper and sign the postcard.
