The third festival for gourmets and connoisseurs of culinary art "Feast of Food" was traditionally held on the last Saturday of summer, August 31, in Gorky Park. The guests of the event were greeted by more than a hundred participants, they were expected by master classes from professional chefs, gastronomic shows, rare cookbooks, crockery and flower stalls, farm stalls, pleasant music, as well as … endless rain.

The organizers provided the guests with raincoats and shoe covers for the guests who had forgotten their homes and umbrellas, and some simply hid in the covered institutions of the festival participants.

The Food Festival is undoubtedly the main gastronomic festival in Moscow. After all, this is a ten-hour marathon of delicious pleasure in the fresh air, the best chefs and culinary experts, the most interesting Moscow cafes and restaurants.

The main intrigue of the last year, according to Alexei Zimin, the project's ideologist and editor-in-chief of the Afisha-Food magazine, was the fast food boom, which has become a subject of lively discussions and a fashionable occupation. In this regard, visitors to the festival were able to see and, of course, taste new, exotic and even future forms of existence of street food in all its diversity.

The chefs revealed culinary secrets and subtleties of recipes.

Chefs of various nationalities demonstrated to the guests the preparation of the most interesting dishes, revealed their culinary secrets and subtleties of certain recipes. For example, the owner of Saperavi Café, Tengiz Andribava, shared the secrets of Georgian cuisine and, together with his chefs, Manana and Irma, prepared a Georgian national delicacy - churchkhela and treated the visitors. The Chef of the Shabu-Shabu restaurant, Filipino Ruel Kombite, revealed the secret of the correct preparation of Thai green curry, the taste of which the audience could immediately appreciate. Denis Krupenya, the chef of the Ragout cafe, well known to Moscow gourmets, treated the audience to incredibly tasty ice cream.

In general, at the "Food Festival - 2013" everyone found a place for themselves - they could please their stomach, write down the recipes they liked, acquire cookbooks, dishes and, of course, interesting acquaintances. Love of food and inclement weather, you know, unite tightly.
