5. Each plant takes 2 liters of infusion. There is no need to increase the amount, as otherwise you will simply flood the cucumbers.

And also manure can be used in the fight against powdery mildew. If you pre-treat the leaves of the plant with manure infusion (it is advisable to strain it), then the likelihood of the appearance of this disease on your plants will significantly decrease.

Fertilization with food waste

An equally effective folk remedy for the growth of cucumbers in the open field is considered to be a tincture from food waste. It would seem, what can you feed the plants with if there are no special components at hand?

Here are some options:

• banana skins;
• peeling carrots;
• orange peel;
• onion peel.

Brief instructions for making tincture:

1. Mix all of these ingredients together for maximum effect. If you don't have any component, it's okay. You can replace it with potato peel or not add it at all.
2. After you have mixed the ingredients together, pour boiling water over them. Leave the mixture to sit for a few days.
3. After the time has elapsed, drain the watery part from the tincture and dilute it with water based on the proportion of 250 ml of tincture per 5 liters of water.
4. Water the roots of plants periodically with a small amount of infusion and then you will not only get a fast-growing crop, but also protect it from diseases.

Top dressing with baker's yeast and beer

But such strange folk remedies are often very effective and conducive to plant growth, so this method also takes place.

Let's first look at how to make a yeast-based fertilizer.

You will need:

• a pack of dry baker's yeast;
• 2/3 st. granulated sugar;
• 3-3.5 liters of water.

Preparation:

1. Crush the yeast and stir in the sugar.
2. Pour about 3 liters of warm water to the two previous ingredients and mix everything.
3. Leave the mixture at room temperature for a few days. Remember to stir the contents periodically.
4. Dilute 250 ml of the resulting tincture in 10 liters of water and water the plants with it. Since the solution is quite strong, 1 cucumber bush will take only 0.5 liters of the mixture.
5. Strain the solution, and then you will be able to process the leaves with it.

As for feeding with beer, everything is simple. You only need 1 ingredient, which is a beer drink.

An important point: beer should be non-alcoholic and "live". This is the only way to benefit from feeding cucumbers in the open field with beer.
