Another problem is familiar to many young professionals - after graduating from a university and going beyond the beloved Alma Mater, you suddenly discover with surprise that all your knowledge is absolutely useless, your wonderful profession does not exist in the ads "required", and everywhere you need only some then terrible managers (or in Russian transcription - "managers"), and always with experience in selling condensed milk to diabetics and shoe polish to African aborigines.

There is a slow but inevitable realization that life has been lived in vain (more precisely, not life, but the last five years) - friends either work in large companies, doing something unknown and incomprehensible, or interrupt odd jobs, the size of which is terrifying by the complete inconsistency with that, what is required at least for black bread and water. Attempts to find a job turn into a miserable convulsive twitching of the legs of a dying cockroach, and many find an easy way out - to study further. Go to graduate school, then to accounting courses. And the process is delayed. This should not be allowed.

First, it is absolutely realistic to combine work and study. If you want sometime in the bright future to work in an area that is even remotely interesting to you and somehow connected with your education, then there is nothing to wait. You need to have at least some experience, and preferably not in your university. Even if you worked as an operator for entering data into a computer, it will always come in handy - at least it will be clear that you have a decent typing speed, and you can communicate with a computer - at least you can find a Reset. Let it be three months, but work experience should be.

Secondly, you shouldn't dive into numerous trainings. They are good and only work in small quantities. By combining many of them, you nullify the effect, since your sensitivity to the dogmas they give out decreases. Moreover, the training scheme is also different for different people, and therefore, mixing them, you will most likely understand that you simply do not know whether you should be active, or relax and have fun. It is advisable to choose trainings in one system, which is more suitable for you. And attend one training session every three to four months, so that you can figure out what is important for you and what you can forget.

Thirdly, you cannot discount your own education. If you studied at a university - it's great, it provides a basic basis, conveys its microclimate. Accordingly, you should not choose a very loose or, on the contrary, a very responsible educational institution - then it will be quite difficult to rebuild in a different way.

Fourthly, no one will ever tell you the truth about what kind of education the university gives in the selection committee. As well as the quality of training. You need to ask the people studying there, look at the statistics.

If the teachers are poorly dressed, and the female students and students are well, this is a positive sign. This means that either the children of wealthy parents study here (you can make the right acquaintances, and connections are always connections, sadly enough to notice), or the students earn good money, which means they will be able to tell where, how and when they can get a job. And this is very important information.

Fifthly, the design of the place where education and training takes place. It is optimal for the university - new classrooms, a renovated hall, old corridors - this means that more attention is paid to students than dust in the eyes. Trainings are most often held either in special centers or in kindergartens and schools rented for this occasion. If each visitor is assigned a separate place, this is already good, but if you have to huddle in a tiny room, it is a bad sign. The person who conducts the training must have either a special pedagogical or psychological education. It is also possible just a specialized and extensive experience of working for him. And all this must be presented without hesitation.

Sixth, in no case should you think that "the more expensive the better." This is not true. In fact, it is better where there are more experienced professionals. And they don't always demand crazy money - you just need to know where they work.

And, finally, after graduating from a university, you should not immediately demand a large salary if you have no work experience. Just because no matter how perfect your knowledge is, all the same, first you will need to be introduced to the specifics of the work, to teach. And it is better to work in a small company for not very big money for half a year (the main thing is not to stay there for a long time - good colleagues and a boss can be found elsewhere), and then sharply raise salary expectations in the resume, boldly declaring at the interview that you are is aimed at career growth in a large company.

We must not forget that in Russia very few specialists cost more than a thousand dollars (information from a recruiting agency). But, if you are outbid (headhunting, there is such a direction) for at least six hundred to eight hundred, then you are in demand and are valuable. Thus, you can significantly raise the bar and demand more. This usually takes no more than a year.

And the last thing - success is not fate, not luck and not a legend - it is a lifestyle. If you manage to form the image of a person who is needed by everyone, knows a lot and feels great in any situation - pretty soon the image will start working for you. Perhaps it will require some expenses - you need money to buy clothes, for education, to support yourself while looking for a job, but it pays off. The most important thing is to believe in yourself and your success. And he will come.
