How the documentation is drawn up before leaving for self-isolation

According to official documents, the quarantine to which employees are sent is a period of temporary incapacity for work, therefore it is issued on a sick leave. Nevertheless, the very process of its registration is somewhat different from the standard one. First of all, any contacts between the employee and the employee of the HR department are excluded.

The employee must send an application for a sick leave in electronic form, which is easy to do through a personal account on the website of the State Services or another state body. If, before sending an employee to quarantine, he is examined by a doctor, then it is the doctor who must issue a certificate of temporary disability.

  2. An electronic ticket or a photo of a travel document, which confirms that the employee was in a particular country (this is done if there are no customs stamps on the above documents).
  3. Photos or scanned documents that confirm that the employee lives with a person who recently returned from abroad (this is done if the employee has not traveled himself, but one of his close people has recently traveled abroad).

Further, information is exchanged between the Social Insurance Fund and medical institutions. From there, all information goes to the medical organization and the employee is issued a sick leave in electronic form.

Remuneration for coronavirus

All payments go to the employee's account exclusively from the FSS. The task of the enterprise is to transfer all the necessary information there. All information is transmitted within two days, after which the employee receives the payment as follows:

  • for the first week - within 1 working day after receiving the information by the FSS;
  • for the following days - one day after the end of the quarantine measures.

Thus, for the period of self-isolation, the employer is obliged to issue an appropriate order, on the basis of which sick leave certificates will be issued to employees. If an employee comes from a business trip, especially a foreign one, then he must immediately spend 2 weeks in self-isolation, and send all documents in electronic form.
