After the adoption in 2018 of the law on raising the retirement age, a federal law on increasing the coefficient was also adopted, on the basis of which pension payments are indexed from 2019 to 2021 in accordance with Federal Law No. 350.

It should be noted that there is a tendency towards a decrease in indexation. This is evidenced by the statistics of the past years and the current year:

• in 2019, the increase was 7.5%;
• in 2020, the pension increased in Russia by 6, 6%;
• in 2021, the indexation was 6.3%.
