1. Download the application form, fill in the required information.
2. Prepare a package of documents confirming the citizen's right to receive payment.
3. Choose a method of contact - through the PFR website or in person. If the application is submitted remotely, you must go to the personal account of the insured person on the public services portal and follow the prompts of the system.

In the case of a personal visit, the application and accompanying documents are transferred to the specialist of the department at the place where the disabled person receives social benefits.

Required Documentation

Citizens in need of outside assistance, as well as guardians, provide the following documents to the FIU:

• applicant's passport (only in case of a personal visit);
• disabled person's consent and statement;
• work book of the ward;
• permission from parents (adoptive parents, guardianship authorities), if care is provided for a disabled child under 18 years of age;
• a certificate confirming the lack of official income (salary, benefits, pensions) from the guardian;
• a certificate from an educational institution that can confirm the fact that the guardian is studying in the full-time department (if necessary).

The term of consideration is 10 working days. If approved, the compensation payment is credited to the ward's personal account at the same time as his pension.

Termination of care payments

Upon the occurrence of certain conditions that entail a change in the status of the guardian, the payment of state benefits is terminated. This happens in the following cases:

• deprivation of a ward of a disability group;

• the disabled person declared a lack of care.

An assistant or disabled person must notify the Pension Fund of the termination of care. Otherwise, the illegal receipt of payments will be followed by sanctions from the state.

According to the latest news, the initiative of the State Duma deputies to increase wages for caring for all disabled people of group I did not find support.
