Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is working hard on her new project. The actress is currently filming and filming the film "Unbroken" about the Olympic champion and World War II hero Louis Zamperini (Louis Zamperini). The preparatory work was carried out for a long time, but now the filming has started. The Universal film company has already launched an advertising campaign for the tape, and the first sign was the publication of a joint photo of Jolie and Zamperini.
Angelina and Luis will reportedly work on the film together. The main character will be played by a young British actor Jack O'Connell.
The plot of the picture will develop in accordance with the events described in Laura Hillenbrand's book Unbroken: A Story of Survival, Resistance and Redemption. Recall that in 1936 Zamperini took part in the Olympic Games, during the Second World War he served in the Air Force, in 1945 he was captured by the Japanese. He managed to survive, but after returning to his homeland, the man faced a serious problem - alcoholism and post-traumatic stress disorder. However, Louis managed to overcome this too. Later he held a kind of seminars for those suffering from alcoholism. Now 95-year-old Zamperini appears in public from time to time.
Of course, all this is fine, but it seems that against the background of a new fascinating project, Jolie will completely forget about her own wedding.
Angelina frankly admitted that after reading the book by Laura Hillenbrand, she immediately got the idea to make a film. However, the main thing is not even that. “I'm a big Louis fan. His experience taught me a lot. And he made me better, - assures the star. - Louis is a real hero, the personification of courage and faith. I am honored to tell his story."
