He is known not only to Russian fashionistas. Valentin Abramovich regularly presents his collections at the Haute Couture Week in Paris. In total, the designer has more than 50 Haute Couture collections, and he is not going to stop. By the way, Valentin Yudashkin is so far the only Russian Fashion House admitted to the High Fashion Syndicate.
On the occasion of the double anniversary at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts tomorrow, October 15, an exhibition entitled “Valentin Yudashkin. Fashion in the Space of Art”.
“I love the moment when a theme is born, an idea for a new collection. At this moment, you already imagine her concept, see silhouettes and colors, feel her mood. This is very shaky, on the one hand, but on the other - unusually concrete. The collection has not even been named yet, but I already understand what feeling it will evoke,”the hero of the day noted recently.
Today, Yudashkin's works are presented in the State Historical Museum of Moscow, in Milan, in the Louvre Museum of Costume and in the California Fashion Museum.
A couple of weeks ago, the couturier presented his new spring / summer 2014 collection in the capital of France. As the couturier explained, this time he was inspired by the art of the Scythians, and therefore many spectacular models in golden tones could be seen on the catwalk.
As Russian publications remind, in the work on his collections, Valentin Abramovich often turns to the techniques and techniques of various historical eras, inspired by the works of great artists, sculptors, architects. Therefore, the names of his collections usually sound very symbolic: "Faberge", "Vrubel", "Russian avant-garde", "The Sun King".
