The scandal between the leadership of Channel One and the singer Zemfira threatens to turn into court hearings. The other day, a well-known performer accused the staff of the TV channel of copyright infringement, but the general director of Channel One, Konstantin Ernst, almost immediately recalled the star's old sins.

Last Friday, the artist accused Channel One of the illegal use of her composition "Do you want?" at the opening ceremony of the Olympics. “Channel One ignored all possible agreements and used my track without consent. This is a direct violation of copyright, this is lawlessness. What is this th … o? Do you do whatever you want? " - reported on the official website of the singer.

Konstantin Ernst, who acted as the producer and scriptwriter of the ceremony, outraged Zemfira's remark. On the eve of the "Echo of Moscow" broadcast, he said that he was ready to sue the singer if she filed a lawsuit over the use of her song in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.

Earlier, Zemfira said that she would like to speak at the opening of the Games and made a request to the organizers, but received a "mildly worded refusal."

“I think that I have done a lot for Zemfira, for her career. And such pettiness, it seems to me, is simply a shame for such an outstanding singer,”Ernst said and suggested that the singer’s talk about a lawsuit over the song at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Games was her desire to attract attention against the background of interest in a sporting event.

He added that "five or seven years ago," Zemfira violated the terms of her contract with the recording company Real Records, which at the time was headed by Ernst. The General Director of Channel One noted that then he did not file a lawsuit, “forgave her this violation,” but if the artist fulfills her promise to go to court regarding the use of her song, then the case may be set in motion. At the same time, Ernst did not specify what kind of violation he was talking about.
