The other day in the State Gallery on Solyanka the opening of the exhibition “Cold and Beauty. The Snow Queen - 55 , timed to coincide with the 55th anniversary of the legendary animated film by Lev Atamanov and the 90th anniversary of one of the creators of the masterpiece - Alexander Vinokurov.

In all the halls, the original cartoon is spinning non-stop, as well as its Japanese counterpart - "Prince of the North" by Hayao Miyazaki. And Birkin coincided with the anniversary of the exhibition "Frozen Portraits" that adorn the walls of the gallery.

“I was lucky enough to shoot 14 stunning famous Russian women, and it was such a pleasure,” said the British artist. - I would like to thank them. My job is about how they see themselves and how I see them. I still don't understand: the camera is looking at them, or they are at themselves - decide for yourself. I asked the girls to remember the most dramatic moments of their lives, so that the image is deep, they looked in the mirror, and their expression immediately changed."

Each star has created its own, unique image. “Mirror games are magic. She looked, and it was as if another person was looking at me. In general, my queen is perky - childhood has climbed into my head. That's why I'm the only one smiling,”singer Natalya Ionova told Komsomolskaya Pravda about the shooting.
