Not all Russians believe that age is the main obstacle in choosing a life partner. Most are sure that stamping a passport is easy, but finding a person with whom you want to connect your destiny is much more difficult.

The most problematic in terms of finding the second half of the inhabitants of Russia consider the age of 50 years. It is believed that the older a woman is, the more difficult it is for her to put up with other people's habits and adapt to life with another person. And changing herself at this age is often an impossible task. At the same time, young Russians turned out to be the most pessimistic: of all the respondents, it is they who least of all believe that family happiness is possible even after reaching the age of 50, writes Utro.ru.

It is much easier for young girls, respondents believe. Only 3% of the survey participants, which was conducted by the Research Center of the SuperJob.ru portal, are sure that 20-year-olds may have problems in this area. However, most girls admit that the main difficulties are associated with housekeeping and patience.

4% believe that the critical age for marriage is 25 and 45 years. Approximately the same number of respondents is sure that it is not easy to get married at 30, 35 and 40 years old (12, 13 and 12%, respectively). With age, women become much more discriminating, gain experience in communicating with men and clearly know what they want. Often it is the excessive exactingness that prevents them from building relationships. And some just like freedom, and they are not ready to part with it for the sake of marriage.

16% of Russians are of the opinion that the most difficult thing is to get married at 50. “The older a woman is, the more difficult it is for her to get married. At this age, it is already difficult to change established habits, adapt to another person, put up with his shortcomings and try to eradicate our own,”the survey participants say.

Curiously, men and women view age and related marriage problems differently. For example, the number of the fair sex who believe that it is difficult to get married at the age of 25 exceeds the number of men who hold the same opinion (5% versus 3%). In turn, men are more critical of the chances of marriage for 40- and 50-year-old women.

Those Russian women who are most unhappy with potential suitors are trying to choose foreigners as life companions. The British hold the palm here. One of the survey participants explained it this way: “In Britain, all men are handsome, and girls are ugly. Here, in Russia, all women are beautiful, and men are worthless"

Often, women believe that Russian men are to blame for their failures in their personal lives. Many survey participants note that there are very few good men in Russia. “After the constant wars of the twentieth century, the male population of Russia has become extinct or degraded, and feminism is flourishing. In general, what we fought for, we ran into it, dear women! - summed up one of the participants.

Found it difficult to answer 14%. Someone simply did not think about this issue, but someone believes that "everything depends on the woman herself, her personal qualities, self-esteem, and not on age."
