The next season of one of the most popular television shows "Ice Age" is over. On December 26, the names of the best were announced - the superfinal of the project was won by the ex-soloist of the "Brilliant" group Yulia Kovalchuk and Olympic champion Roman Kostomarov.

After the announcement of the results of the show, the couple admitted that for them this victory meant almost the same as the first place in the Olympics. The artists had to bypass 14 strongest couples, each of which demonstrated a very high level of preparation.

Let us remind you that the Ice Age show is not Yulia's first attempt to conquer the ice. Two years ago she took part in a similar project “Dancing on Ice. Velvet Season”on the channel“Russia”, where she also won first place in a pair with figure skater Peter Chernyshev.

“From the very first minute of our skating with Roma, I completely trusted him. He is an Olympic champion, a strong, charming man. Wherever I rolled, wherever I was turned away, he is support and support. And if suddenly I fell, he would immediately pick up, put me on my feet, save me …”- says the singer about her partner.

Julia has repeatedly admitted that the days of reporting speeches were very difficult for her psychologically. “Until the very last moment I didn’t believe that we could win, although Tanya and Marat and I reached the final with the same number of points. I was sure that even if we took the first place by the scores of the professional jury, we would still lose by the decisive vote of the audience. After all, I was a new person on the project, and Marat and Tanya were everyone's favorites. I think that this is not a victory "because", but a victory "in spite of", - explains Kovalchuk. - This is one of the most important victories. The year was very difficult, but successful for me."

The winners were awarded vouchers to the Ice Palace in Norway, medals and cups, which, according to the singer, she cannot even lift.
